A is for Arthur Avenue, a neighborhood in the Bronx also known as “the real Little Italy”. Here are my 4 favorite shops in the neighborhood and what to eat there:

Casa della Mozzarella at 604 E 187th St, The Bronx, NY 10458. Obvs get their mozzarella, but don’t forget the parmigiano reggiano and homemade burrata.
Calabria Pork Store at 2338 Arthur Ave, The Bronx, NY 10458. Get their hot soppressata.
@borgattis at 632 E 187th St, The Bronx, NY 10458. Get a box of their fresh spinach and ricotta raviolis to cook at home.
Madonia Bakery 2348 Arthur Ave, The Bronx, NY 10458. Pick any of their breads, but the cannoli is a MUST get.

    mor to come ? F = Flusing
    B = Brooklyn ….. C = China Town
    S = Steinway

  2. I would NEVER leave the country life, but I sure would love to have this culinary diversity of NYC at my fingertips.

  3. I love that you can put all of those ingredients together and make a good pasta dish with bread on the side. Yum

  4. If F isn't for a Fuku chicken sandwich, something went horribly, horribly wrong.

    Edit: And L should be the lemon poppy at Dough Doughnuts. 😀

  5. Minorities are just pilgrims who came late ..
    And they didn’t join the mass genocide and enslavement of other nations..
    They arrived when its done and dusted .

  6. Love the alphabet food but as well as giving shout outs to locally owned places with their own history! I’m here for it❤

  7. At the risk of being pedantic, cannoli is plural. One is a cannolo and two or more would be cannoli. Same thing for Panini (Panino), Ravioli (Raviolo) and Gelati (Gelato). An o at the end dentotes the singular form, and an i at the end means it’s plural. I hope you find this helpful!

  8. love this series. You are one of the best food youtubers, your life and takes on cuisines around the world has been eye opening and fun to explore!

  9. Just rewatched this series. We‘re visiting NY in August and shurely will try some of the recommendations. Thanks, Beryl ❤
