  1. My guy who is part Italian said with Italians it's considered Italian fast food. He likes it though lol

  2. We always know what Italians will say about Olive Garden. We get it it’s not authentic Italian food. WE GET IT

  3. I get it.
This is how I feel when I go to "American" restaurants in Europe.
Once, I went to an "American" restaurant in Berlin.
They had potato skins on the menu.
I explained to my European wife that potato skins are made from potatoes which are first baked, then the insides are removed leaving pieces of skin with about 5mm of potato.
These are deep fried to a golden brown.
They're then topped with cheddar and bacon and put into a roaster.
The skins have been cooked 3 times to a golden deliciousness!!!!

What we got: inch thick halves of boiled potatoes topped with cheese melted solely by the heat of the potatoes. 🤬

  4. This poor man. I knew this would be a car crash… I make my own lasagna, and that monstrosity looked horrific. I would expect better from a Tesco ready meal, never mind a so called ‘Italian restaurant’.
That food looks horrific. Those ‘meatballs’ 😳😱.
I’m British and I wouldn’t eat that stuff, it’s awful!
Dread to think what they’re charging for this mess… thank the Lord for Italian restaurants run by actual Italians! lol
    Poor man… 😂

  5. I mean… As an Italian… There MUST be something in the Geneva convention, at least a small footnote, forbidding the fact of submitting unaware Italians to "real Italian food" in America. The "ma vaffanc**o amore" was the only realistic reaction to those dishes.

  6. Oh god I was gone when she got the fried lasagna out 😂😂😂😂. Dear god… who the hell made that monstrosity up?!
I’m so glad we didn’t go there when we went to the US..!

  7. Italian American food has way too much garlic, authentic Italian not so much.
As for Olive Garden it's a cartoon version of Italian and absolutely disgusting…
    It's all about personal choices

  8. But the problem is that first we eat with our eyes. By blindfolding, you bias the eater AGAINST the food…even if it is tasty. The only reason to do a blind taste test is when the eater knows the food expected, but is determining between two entries….so that the eater does not bias because of knowing whom made whichever entry. But blinding the eater, and expecting the eater to like unknown food….is wrong. It automatically turns the eater against the food eaten.

  9. It's nearly impossible to find "authentic" Italian food in the US, especially at chain restaurants. If you live in the right area (NYC, Chicago, etc) you have a chance, but you really have to do your research.
    I apologize profusely. ❤❤❤

  10. 7:42 I feel you. I don't even like Italian food, but it's possible that I don't like Italian food because of places like Olive garden. I cannot eat there. I look at it and I just think pasta and glop. It is so gross. The one and only time I ate there was 12 years ago and it was because my brother was having a get-together there and all I could eat was the salad and the breadsticks. I didn't order anything because it all looks so disgusting.

  11. I amazed how the food effects his stomach..he ate very little in totality. Just proves the poor quality of the processed junk we eat daily here.
