Surrounded by the verdant Tuscan countryside, halfway between Florence and the sea, this impressive 390-hectare estate is for sale. This idyllic property includes a historical villa dating back to the 1400s, which has belonged to the Piaggio and Agnelli families, three farmhouses divided into flats each with a dedicated swimming pool, two cellars for wine production, a private chapel, the lemon house, and flats for staff. The estate also features additional farmhouses and ruins, totaling an internal surface area of 14,500 sqm. The grounds include a well-kept garden complete with a hedge maze, a tennis court, an Italian garden, a private pond, and three swimming pools. Additionally, there is arable land, a vineyard, and a large forested area.
This enchanting estate was donated to Gino di Neri Capponi by the Republic of Florence in the early 15th century for his victory over the city of Pisa. In those years, the renowned Florentine architect and sculptor Bartolomeo Ammannati, an exponent of the Medici court, built the main villa. In the 18th century, Gino Capponi, the only son of Marquis Pier Roberto and Marquise Maddalena Frescobaldi, chose this estate as his private home, hosting illustrious personalities including the writer Alessandro Manzoni, author of “The Betrothed”. In the 1950s, the villa was purchased by the Piaggio and Agnelli families as their summer home, where they hosted notable personalities such as Emilio Pucci and Marcello Mastroianni.
The 390-hectare grounds of this impressive estate feature 25 hectares of garden with a romantic pond and central island, 77 hectares of arable land, 278 hectares of woodland, and 10 hectares of vineyards. When Giovanni Agnelli chose the estate as his private home in the 1990s, he devoted himself to converting the vineyards, including Sangiovese and Syrah, and refining the wine production process. All stages of wine production take place entirely within the estate thanks to two spacious cellars, one dedicated exclusively to the aging phase.
This luxury estate for sale, located halfway between Florence and the sea, is ideal for those seeking a timeless place and natural paradise offering many opportunities for recreation, history, beauty, and tranquility.

The Uffizi is 13,000 sq meters. Is this house bigger than the Uffizi?
My head exploded with a gigantic "WOW!"
Wow, such a magnificent estate and with so much history. It would be an honor just to live where l'Avocato lived! It certainly has it all, classic architecture, great decor, terrific gardens… let's see, how many banks to I need to rob? We can all enjoy and dream! Wonderful presentation as usual Stefanie, thanks so much to you and Lionard!
No credit to my eyes!! What a state, Could be a province of Italy on its own!! Thanks Steffanie for show us a historical property like that!! Piaggios and Agnellis !! What else!!
Vast, like a town or province. "Five minute drive" and you're still on the property. (smile) Beautiful. Thank you Stefanie.☮
The architecture. The history. The vastness of the property. The beauty. The tranquility & the peace. This is just almost inconceivable! Thank you for taking us along, Stefanie. ❤
Beautiful what is the price..
Too much hard loud symphonic music at the start of this video.
come on bitcoin, I want to buy this some day
There is a library AND a teading room. I would never leave this house except to eat and to buy art materials then noone would see me. There is enough space to have an artist studio
i cant even afford to look at this
You picked a perfect day to shoot this. Wow.
OUTSTANDING : o …..
That historic mansion with almost 400 hectares in Tuscany is worth not less than $50 million euros. 🇮🇹💯
Questa proprietà è squisita, ma non riesco immaginare tutto il personale necessario per gestire questo posto. Posso immaginare che venga aquisitata da qualche grande azienda vinicola, ma mi sembra molto per una persone o una famiglia.
Essentially Tuscan, the price must be big as well, some people do get lucky!
390 ettari :390 campi da calcio 😮❤
