Jamaican Italian Fusion…this is the BREADFRUIT BRUSCHETTA! I haven’t seen anything like it online so maybe this is a worlds first?! Today I’m picking fresh tomatoes and basil from my garden to make a bruschetta, but mixed it up with some fresh scotch bonnet peppers, salt & olive oil. Instead of rustic bread, I’m using roast then fried breadfruit for some awesome blend of flavours! This was for real a 10/10 taste, try it out and let me know what you think.

  1. I had breadfruit in Jamaica a while back, it was so good!! Juicy and all, it took me forever once I got back to find out what it was. Bought one at my Loblaws but it tasted NOTHING like in Jamaica… Now I know where to go get one and gonna try your recipe. About how long you'd say it takes in the oven?

  3. You can roast your bread fruit on the gas stove top 10 minutes on the top 10 minutes on the bottom five minutes on all four sides inside your house. I cut the steam out first roast it upside down I make a cross mark in the bottom

  10. breadfruit is amazing. also just got back from bali and had a epic jackfruit cocnut curry dish that was cooked so nice and the jackfruit tasted and had the texture of chicken breast!

  12. I have a Habanero and a Scotty in pots I have been enjoying for weeks. Lots of peppers I chop one up almost everyday with a meal. First time growing but doing well. I will have to make a sauce soon…not sure what to do with them all. Usually just do Vinegar Garlic salt in my Bullet add a bit of olive oil.
