Stumbling upon and sampling some wines at Tenuta Luisa in the famed Colio wine region in north-east Italy. Tony and I bought a case and gave it all away! The Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Blanc were my favourites. This region, with its cold winters and mild to hot summers, is especially known for its aromatic, crisp whites. Salute!
