  1. You can never disappoint. Always perfect, educational and entertaining. I love you guys!!

  2. "That hazelnut mayo is actually NUTS." Vaughn always killing me in the best way with the puns 🫠

And Sohla!! That spread looked sooo fire. I second all the other commenters in encouraging her to let go of the self-criticism (but let me take my own advice first lmao).

Great job to Ham, too, for his prowess in the kitchen and in being such a positive force in Sohla's life 🤌

  3. They shouldn't be so hard on themselves! If this was a legit tasting menu wouldn't they've had a full platoon of chefs to do every little part of each bite?

  4. I love Sohla and Ham. Your expectations are way higher than mine because I thought this was pretty and taught me more about kina/uni

  5. I absolutely love this show – Ham and Sohla are so inspiring in so many ways. My only wish is that a greater proportion of the dishes are vegan, or at least veggie. As such creative chefs, I’m sure they could really rise to this additional challenge – the vegan episode a while back was so brilliant.

  6. ham being SO nice about the burning crumbs is the only way someone should ever respond 🫶

  7. This is one of my favorite episodes… seeing them just have so much fun with the ingredients and having it be ‘imperfect’ was awesome

  8. OMG. Best uni-lateral challenge ever! I want to live in this uni-verse! or go to their uni-versity! Uni? Yes, you! Something about the sea urchin shell and the baby carrier and Sohla with the baby and the champagne and Ham just cruising through those dishes was just the most intimate sea symphony. Thank you for my overnight shift entertainment! I hope they keep the illustrations and frame them in their kitchen. or bathroom. Uni-Me-Happy!

  9. Someone from NYT picks these ingredients, right? I guess they just pick the foods they really want to eat prepared by Ham & Sohla. Lucky them 🙂

  10. As a new mom myself, it was sad to see Sohla be hard on herself. Maybe that’s something she’s always struggled with, I don’t know, but from my personal experience I’ve been a lot harder on myself since becoming a mom. On the flip side, I was almost emotional watching her interact with her baby, kissing her over and over and talking to her and waving to calm her down when the baby was off-camera and fussing. It’s just so universal, that love we have for our babies. ❤️

  11. Sohla and Ham!! Ham and Sohla!! My favorites!!!!!!!! 🎉

Also uni is very much seafood butter and so darned delicious

  12. Love these videos ♥️♥️♥️ can we get more secret ingredients that common folk know the taste of though 😭

  13. Ham and Sohla are my new favorites….and I’m a big fan of Vaughn….and PS….you guys did all that in AN HOUR!!!!

  14. Personally, I think Sohla should’ve spent more time drinking champagne because she deserves it ❤

  15. I love Mystery Menu and especially whenever Ham and Sohla make a tasting menu. Their creativity is so fun to watch

  16. Shout out to Chile cobanero from Guatemala. The best dry smoked chile in the world. Try it on pizza, let it change your life.

  17. I'm always amazed at how really talented people discount their ability to make something simple and delicious, and only see imperfections in finesse, rather than how amazingly good the product is because of their skill. It's the curse of a good eye.

  18. I love you Sohla and Ham. They're so cute and fun and you can just see their joy at cresting these dishes and how much fun they have. True gourmands and love for the craft. If this is you failing what would a win look like
