Olive Garden is the place to go for cheap comfort food that looks expensive. However, I will freely admit it is not Italian. It’s as Italian as a Chicago deep dish meat lovers pizza is like authentic Italian pizza.
At this point they should just rebrand themselves to Alfredo garden. Because I have never seen the world alfredo pop up in a menu this often

As a person who has a quarter of their family tree composed of Italian heritage, I must agree, you can only have so much Alfredo.
To be honest I'll only go for their Chicken Parmesan or for the endless pasta bowl. But that's usually if I'm too tired to cook or it's too hot in the kitchen to heat it up more.

That's the problem with a lot of "Italian" places in the US, they put too much alfredo sauce and ricotta in everything. I wouldn't mind it if they just put a little, like an accent or garnish… but I've seen lasagna stuffed with a whole handful of ricotta and alfredo sauce so thick you may as well put away you fork and grab a spoon. Less is more, my dudes.
That menu is more french than Italian with all that Bechamel sauce all over the place, disgusting
