  1. Carmakers have stopped producing affordable small cars like the Peugeot 108 or the Ford Fiesta, trying to force customers to buy bigger more polluting and more expensive cars. Customers have responded by buying Chinese EVs.

  2. Truth is all USA car companies cannot compete against china. It is over. The only way to avoid closure of all companies is to emulate china but with gasoline cars, not evs. USA needs to make a compact/sedan gasoline low emission car. Car needs no abs brakes, no traction control, no tpms crap. Just a good car like civic or corolla loaded but sold at rock bottom $13k no extra fees, delivery and other scams. $13k on the road zero down and financing at 2% 48 months. The struggling working class in america need these cars. At least 40 million people would acquire these carsnin usa and canada within 6 months if usa car makers want to survive.

  3. Well what do you expect? SHITlantis makes shit, nobody buys shit. Simple as that and I'll be happy for them to crumble to the ground.

The same SHITlantis that replaced the Hemi with a MEXICAN twin turbo inline-6!

  4. He’s really irritating.. you increased the price of thermal as same of EVs… and you ask for 1 million costumers! They should remove this Portuguese accountant! Car need to be cheap, functional and full of new model! Everything you’re not letting doing to Stellantis! Send him home and take back the insane salary he’s making

  5. If a jeep wasn't 100k and was more around 60k they would have this problem. Plus dealer ain't dealing. They are holding on to vehicles over 2 years and try to sell them as used at 9% interest. They just need to listen to the costumers and sell their vehicles.

  6. Stellantis has destroyed 40 years of cooperation between Peugeot and Citroen workshops. Reducing margins and complicating the collection of guarantees. In addition to not providing a definitive solution to the PureTech engine in 10 years. Entire families only bought Peugeot or Citroen. Now they buy Toyota.

  7. The guy just bragged Opel survived wars… he means the wwii. Opel along with most German brands built parts and vehicles for the nazi war effort. This guy is such a clown 🤦‍♂️

  8. Consumers are not stupid. Who is spending $80k+ on Brand name and pretty lines if the odds of getting 100k reliable miles is very low. Dear Carlos, want to captivate the EV market in the US? Target Hands-on consumers with lower tech EV trucks and vans that anybody can service and swap parts on. Utility trucks and vans that don't rely on Dealers and Manufactures to keep them running for 20+ years at home. An EV truck with a future proof sales point. This is likely where China is going to kill everybody.

  9. This Guy is a financial vampire.
He is doesn’t respect shit about these brands.
When they took over with him at helm the brands Jeep,Ram,Dodge Etc they were doing okay
Let’s be frank here the quality is shit they prices are way out of line and it’s not workers fault he is the CEO and he needs to go…

  10. How bad are things for Carlos right now that he does an interview in front of peg board with drywall screws in it…
Hey Carlos I think they might be hiring for night receiving at Walmart.

  11. He talks lots of talk but has no walk. Bastard Fiat products were always crap, just as they are now.

  12. The fact of the matter is, foreign entities repeatedly trys to cash in on our American security & manufacturing, when in fact our American workers buy more vehicles than fiat & there revivals could ever handle, and i still have the paperwork to prove that it should have never been sold to foreign entities, signed by Mr. Chrysler, Dodge brothers ect. And we don't need a hand out by the government now days, because of out sourcing, and defects on your behalf. Labor pays for its self, it's the ceo's ect. That are the thieves. Just a note from a third generation automotive related, born in the motor city.

  13. As an American auto consumer I am apalled how badly Tavares is treating Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, & Ram! Inflation is severely hurting the car industry! The EV is essentially dead on arrivall!

  14. This guy doesn't understand that here in the United States, we do not want your BS EV cars. Also, we do not want to overpay for trucks or cars. Also, the Chinese vehicles are EV, and if the cost is low, it doesn't mean that they will sell well. I see more Chinese EV vehicles catch fire then domestic ones.

  15. Tavares is an idiot and he does not understand the American car market. He is destroying the Mopar heritage!

  16. Maybe he needs to focus on having reliable EVs before blaming politics and pushing them down consumers throats. If only my 2023 4xe didn't leak transmission oil all over my driveway. Not to mention a host of other issues. I loving spending my free time going back and forth to the dealership, and being on the phone with customer care. Stellantis please buy back my Lemon!

  17. this guy took a profitable car company FCA, making cars and trucks that the people wanted to buy. to a company in trouble, selling overpriced cars trucks and jeeps, being scouted and possibly purchased buy a Chinese Battery company. he is literally killing the old FCA. worst CEO in American car conpany history. the man is an idiot.

  18. North America still believes building ICE vehicles is the answer yet it is just creating a much more drastic end to the ICE vehicle industry itself. China is 20 years ahead of the rest of the world. They can easily make a $19,000 EV that far surpasses any competition. What ICE car company other than BYD has a Hybrid that does 2000km range for 1/3 the price of any American car? None. Aperta does 1000km but it is fully EV.
