Undici Taverna Rustica in Rumson, New Jersey proudly presents the Accademia del Vino Wine Lecture Series with Victor Rallo, Jr. and Anthony Verdoni. Undici hosts the Accademia del Vino wine tasting and lecture dinners in order to educate and spread our love of Italian wine.
This week’s lecture and tasting was on the Wines of Tuscany, featuring Chianti wines. Victor tells of his recent trip to Italy, including how some producers really put the “spirit” of wine into their bottles, and how the “ambiente” of wine and the Italian dinner table is so culturally important. He also announces the release of his first wine brought to the United States, the Rallo Ripasso. The “Wine Professor” Anthony Verdoni gives us some insightful information on the history, geography, and grape varietals of the wines
