Im sorry, a grilled cheese consists of 3 ingredients, bread, cheese, and a sprrad like butter or mayo….that is a cheese and vegetable sandwich.. not a grilled cheese.
I wanna see how this turns out if you grill it inside out too… That was one of my favorite tips and I use it almost every sandwich
You're my hero Chey Jay. Instead of oil or butter for the bread when cooking I just lather each grilling side of the bread with some mayo.

Grill your sandwich, LIGHTLY butter the grilled surface and press into VERY finely grated parmesan or related cheese. Re-grill … careful not to burn.
A side dip of a zesty sauce is 👍 too.
