  1. 38:29 – This is the type of character that makes Gordon Ramsay special. He has this way of bringing clarity to chaos. When people reach the end of their rope, Gordon drops down another rope for them, and carries them through the stress and fear and laziness. He is straight to the point, extremely clear and precise. He has the qualities of an amazing leader and mentor. He is so passionate yet so humble. He is so fucking intelligent and he knows food so thoroughly, inside and out, that it's inspirational. I know he has so many fanboys and super fans, but on a professional level, he's worth $200 million to $250 million and the industry doesn't treat him like a ''celebrity chef''. He's treated as a restaurateur and business owner. I could watch Kitchen Nightmares every day if he had a show every day.

  2. You know, every time the restaurant owner says "people have been coming to this restaurant for x amount of years, the food can't be that bad"
But I wonder if they have ever stopped to consider if they ever see the same people again. Cuz if you get new customers but none of them return, that should tell you the food isn't good.

Then eventually the business slows down and they can't pinpoint where they went wrong.
