  1. As an Italian I can say that Vespas, various Scooters and Motorcycles are one of the most frequent reasons for car accidents in the Center and South of Italy (not in the north because there usually the traffic is so absurd that nothing moves in the street), but almost always is not fault of the vehicle, but In Italy there are an exaggerating amount of asshead teenagers

  2. It depends on many things, 3/4 glasses of wine considering the size of an adult man and a full stomach. The limit in Italy is 0.5 where it is generally exceeded very easily

  3. I'm used to the lacklustre compliance to road laws in the various parts of Asia I've been to. Coming from Singapore and currently living in Australia where the road laws are pretty strict and people either comply with it or knows of ways to get around it, I sort of expected that cars would stop at Zebra crossing like they do in Australia and Singapore. Apparently not, drivers in Japan will not give you the time of day unless you've already started crossing (during a break in traffic) and only then they would begrudgingly stop, if only because they don't want to deal with a traffic accident, and will start moving again as soon as you've cleared the road enough for them to pass.
