The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio has been around a while now, but has just received a fairly significant update.

While you’ll need to be a trainspotter to identify the external differences, the bigger changes are hidden underneath with the change from an electronic to a mechanical limited-slip differential.

To see if this freshen-up has kept carsales’ 2018 Best Driver’s Car in the fight with the BMW M3 and Mercedes-AMG C 63 S, watch the video above.

  1. I don't understand why some reviewers go on about how hard it is to say "Quadrifoglio." Just look it up, there are dozens and dozens of people who got it right. It's pretty simple.

  2. Thanks Scott. I just bought a MY21 Quadrifoglio. Whilst I miss some of the tech available on the similar German marques, I absolutely love the way it drives, It may not be as configurable as others but it is a very comfortable daily drive for commuting as well as an extremely thrilling drive at the flick of a switch!

  3. Although interior is outdated, I like it more than the current German ones. I just think it’s cooler and more driver focused.

  4. Compliments for Yours Review! This Car is Mega! Period. But this car just for the Right People! Not for All. For the rest pls take Big Digital Elephants that is for the Majority. For me Better a Giulia🍀

  5. QV? Its called Quadrifoglio – simply.
You’re supposed to be journalists.. Albeit aussie ones, but still!

  6. Its such a gorgeous car. Its really my dream car despite me being a Ferrari fan. You just got to own a Alfa Romeo at least once in your life.

If I cant afford the Quadrifoglio im pretty perfectly fine in buying the Guilia Veloce. But that sound from the Quadrifoglio is just so beautiful along with its looks.

  7. Dont buy one.
    You have been warned.
I own a 2017 Guilia QV. In Competezione Red.
    I am now an Alfaholic.
So much so, I traded in my Maserati Levante for a Stelvio QV. In Montreal Verde.

  8. I have a MY 2017 with some mods : shorter springs, 20 inch forged wheels with ultralow profile tyres, GTA(m) suspension software, tuned to 570 HP-720 Nm, no more rev limiter in the first 5 gears in Dynamic mode, more progressive paddle feel and a separate button to open and close the exhaust valves in whatever driving mode. I don't care about the poor resolution of the rear parking camera or the dated infotainment. It's all about the driving experience and the feeling that the car gives you. Even after 7 years there is no better car to find at this price that can be easy going (in A or N mode) or go completely bonkers (in D or R mode). I'll never sell it ! That's for sure.

  9. If you’re a driving enthusiast who loves Italian styling and amazing razor sharp handling with a surge of power, this is the machine for you! I speak from experience you won’t be disappointed!

  10. If you have a car channel at least you could pronounce the product you are talking about properly. It's not as though you don't have enough YouTube reference to go off, especially if you can get Veloke correct.

  11. Who cares about the interior’s ‘wow’ factor when there’s no hideous tablet stuck on the dash, but instead a screen nicely integrated into the dash. Much better! Shame the old analogue retro dials are gone though.

  12. Wonder when the brake issue was addressed. Also wonder how difficult it would be to put the diff in.

  13. This car looks at least really dynamic/ sporty, not like the new M5 tank. Also great that it has not these black gloss surfaces everywhere.

  14. Pity that from this final facelift (Q2 2023), unless you option the exposed carbon roof, the painted one is steel. The full leather interior is also downgraded to Veloce spec (if you option the Sparco seats, you retain Nappa leather and Alcantara). In 2024, the only tricolor paint is this red (Etna) as the green (Montreal) has been downgraded to a metallic.
