The things to do in Verona, Italy, are bountiful. But just outside the city is one of Italy’s prized wine-producing regions: Valpolicella. Here, vines have been growing since the ancient Greeks, resulting in bold, beautiful grape varietals like: Rondinella, Corvina, and Corvinone. These are then blended into the coveted wine from the region: Amarone della Valpolicella.
Deep-rooted traditions have developed in the region over the centuries, but there is one winemaker who has been willing to challenge convention. Her name is Camilla Rossi Chauvenet, and she is the founder of the Massimago winery.
Join Tricia and me as we taste the fantastic wines just outside the city of Verona at the Massimago winery.
