UNESCO World Heritage Train Review: Semmering Railway with ÖBB Railjet – World’s Most Scenic Train
Today’s video is a train review, starting in Vienna Austria and ending in Venice Italy. We are taking the ÖBB Railjet on the beautiful Semmering Railway – through countryside scenery and mountainous landscapes. The historical railway is known as the “world’s first true mountain railway”, boasting 14 tunnels, 16 viaducts, and 100+ stone archways. This railway was completed in 1854 and is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
