[Music] today we have docked in a port town in Italy called laspia it’s a very busy working Port nowhere near as Scenic as Genoa but we’re going to head into the town anyway see if we can find the old town part of laspia there must be one and just have a mooch around there see what we can find as always when we disembark we have to be escorted off so that we get kind of priority disembarkation so at this port you’re not allowed to walk in the port cuz it’s a working industrial Port I guess uh so the Port Authority provides shuttle buses to take us out of the port it’s kind of nice not knowing where you’re going to be dropped cuz then you get to begin mooching right away yeah just walking and finding whatever we don’t know what’s in this town we haven’t researched it we’re just going to get on the bus get off the bus and explore see what we find I have no idea where this is going to drop us around I don’t know doesn’t matter no it Mo around for the day let’s back at 17 right oh yeah 5:00 yeah latest otherwise the ship leaves without us oh we’ll be back before then I panic when I get off ship and I shouldn’t have to because we have hours and hours but I know if that ship leaves without me it’s gone with all my stuff exactly and I’m stuck here to train figure out how to meet up with the next ship you didn’t like it yesterday when I got off by myself did you I did not no that was you were panicking then I really was but I made it back and all the staff knew I was there alone so they were sweet yeah you don’t realize until you stood at the side of it when you come off the ship it’s just gigantic definitely working Port look at all the containers everywhere definitely working P not very attractive though is it no it is definitely not it’s very noisy I hope the town’s a little bit more Scenic than this and the bus drops us at the cruise terminal entrance and now we get to explore look at all the palm trees it’s gorgeous and they rent those scooters like normal absolutely gorgeous walking down this beautiful palm tree lined Avenue and the temperature is absolutely perfect I think it’s like 18° Centigrade what’s that that’s about 64 F so it feels lovely it’s guys hanging out fishing look at the Cannons over there that’s pretty cool look how big the ODS are I wonder what they’re catching and I don’t speak Italian so I can’t ask them but what a beautiful Port cactuses and palm trees gorgeous absolutely gorgeous red the may I don’t know how to say that comment below if you know what that means they’re old they like got pitched with rust everything that’s cool ronda’s looking she’s chatting to them oh I see oh he’s got a cat a bait catapult them out excellent so he uses maggots to fish his bait no he doesn’t so he uses the maggots in a slingshot to to attract the fish attract them and then they grab his rod oh okay that’s pretty cool very that’d be nice if that was a little bar there wouldn’t it and he caught a fish I think it is there’s people sat on the louers how big was the fish it was in a net in the I couldn’t see I just saw a big net like this on top yeah lift it ready let’s go you’re not very strong R you try so just spotted the label on the cannon these are from 1819 Ronda those cannons are almost as old as me yeah they are hey you’re wear and tear is better though pointed out to see Kaboom boom you SC me did I I’m sorry I didn’t mean to what a gorgeous park has some beautiful Green Space in uh laspia they sure do laspia just read on a sign laspia is known as the yachting capital of the world I don’t know by that whether they mean sailboat yachting or like Luxury Motor Yachts yachting there’s a statue of Gary Baldi laspia i g Baldi yeah he’s got a seagull on his head oh boy so quiet as well you would know there’s a cruise ship in town would you [Applause] no yeah this is the Old Town look at the uh tree here look at this orange tree loaded down babe they’re absolutely loaded look at that wow see this building here look at the statues on the wall gor oh Ronda there’s a gel Ria you want an ice cream no not right now um this Bank h Italian ice cream and I can’t get Runner to have one yeah there’s a bank I might need a bank actually TD card works all over the world we’ve never had a problem so let’s see yep didn’t even ask if we wanted to do Canadian exchange or local exchange or how much it costs for the machine Let’s see when the receipt comes out drum roll please see that was free there’s no charges get out yeah I cannot believe I just used an ATM in the middle of laspia which is obviously a cruise port so it’s a very touristy City and uh there was no Bank charges with my Canadian debit card that’s amazing I like this city Ronda I do too listen to the music it’s I’m saving money already oh there’s an estate agent let’s see how toia let’s see how much a house is here a house look at this Italian House 165,000 which is how much Canadian that is [Applause] about € 250,000 Canadian wow it’s cheap let’s move for a house oh my goodness let’s move that is so cheap compared to Canadian house [Music] prices that’s a very gray looking Church in the main Square oh they tried to sell us a ride on this train at the cruise port we just walked here we don’t need that that’s kind of tacky Ronda wanted to go on it I definitely did that I’m joking you looking for a fridge magnet yeah so s much they are3 okay so out of all the bars of Cafe in this Ted town we choose this very local one where none of the cruise ship people are set there’s a few locals and it looks down to earth cool so this is where we’ll sit it’s a nice spot on the sidewalk this snacks look pretty good it’s making the video go crazy it’s LED lighting I’ll stick with a beer snackies glass of local beer and a glass of vino blanco there you go Ronda in Italy some Italian snacks and I just spotted over there there’s orange trees lining the street and orange has just dropped should I go and recover it yeah you think mhm why then we can open it up oh really I think so the only time you’re allowed to grab them yeah you’re probably not allowed to grab these so I’m going to loop around in case you’re not allowed I pretend I’m looking at these bikes oh they’re pretty gross see they’re on the floor but yeah it’s pretty uh yeah split open I’m not going to touch that one going to have some snacks here I already had a bite it’s so good it’s delicious hey Ronda oh cheers cheers G cheers everyone okay Ronda your opinion on the little pizza it’s good the sauce is really good like oh my gosh it’s so good what about this one um so I tasted a little bit of the cheese like about that much and it’s quite salty and Smoky oh definitely Glen alley except for the melted part tast A Glenn I’ll feed you okay feed me feed me oh very salty very salty and then the after is very smoky very smoky yeah weird and a weird texture yeah it’s very different yeah very uh leather like now try the pizza P Board you want to make sure you get the sauce cuz the sauce is delicious H the bread’s delicious too yeah it’s really nice I wish it was warm but it’s fine that’s the so this snack I thought it was on bread it’s actually just pure cheese and Parma ham or something yeah cured ham on it very very salty and the cheese is like a thick thick mozzarella salty S I tell you because of the saltiness it makes this ice cold beer tastes amazing I don’t I don’t know honestly I don’t know what’s more beautiful the barrel with flowers or my wife the flowers no I would say my wife just a test another wine and beer and we found this little cafe inside these look at the walk through here I don’t know what is it looks like the entrance to a cathedral or something but it’s not beautiful uh columns and ceiling and what do we get this time we got I got local beer raffle beer raffle no clue what it’s like ronda’s just trying the local wines I’ll show you the food that you can get it looks so tasty it’s simple but [Music] tasty the Pizza Flat [Music] rad that look so good so I just translated what the beer is this up here uh laa de Mar means the beer of the two se’s with barley from Puglia that is really good is that railway station or something no that’s the Military Museum oh okay Arsenal Museum no walking through these archways is really nice isn’t it absolutely we’re going to cross the road and go left left and then right and then left and then make our way back to the boat you in a I don’t think that scale’s working somehow and if it was after 2 weeks in Europe eating the food I would not be jumping on the scale I don’t want to upset myself after a European Cruise yeah exactly that is not happening no we’ve actually been pretty good we’ve not been eating much at all not really oh I’ve been trained I haven’t cheesus I’ve been trained desserts yes you have I haven’t yeah it’s been pretty nasty no it’s been not nasty it’s been beautiful but calorie-wise it’s being nasty okay walk back through the good girl yes you have yes I have lots of salad and fruits and yeah shut up I’m sorry just calling it as it is Glen is being bad R you’re enjoying your holiday I don’t enjoy those I am I am enjoying my I know I don’t enjoy those fancy Dancy foods that you’re trying like fora and um sea urant and oh yeah yeah I forgot about the seurin they were awesome I certainly didn’t yeah but I do I do enjoy trying different food you do and that’s great that’s what holidays are about cuz that stuff you can’t get at home so why wouldn’t you enjoy it exactly and my motto wherever we go in the world is I will try anything once anything doesn’t matter what it is yeah in Asia I’ve eaten not eaten I’ve drunk blood from a live snake that they slit drain the blood I’ve had horse Switzerland cockroaches I’ve eaten sorry close your earsar people have eaten dog in Vietnam yeah I will try anything once literally and if I don’t like it I will never ever eat it again but at least I’ve tried anyway enough of that I’m not eating snakes or dogs today back to the cruise ship look at the plants in this park that’s huge look at the cacti cactuses or cacti I think it’s cacti what a gorgeous park it is stunning all the way through it start to end it’s absolutely gorgeous what is that wow that’s pretty cool I can see our cruise ship in the distance yay back to the MSC Fantasia and tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow I love you tomorrow tomorrow is just a day oh there’s even more fisherman here now oh that another guy did oh no his stuff is still there he’s rers buddy how are we doing my new Italian Grandpa yeah is your new Italian buddy yeah I find friends wherever we go yeah oh yeah look at them all mugget that’s weird they slingshot them out to attract them wow there’s like 10 of the guys fishing now wow we got the two flags Ronda what are the flags Italy yes and I know China just joking Europe European Union correct and Ronda gets trivia points for that correct answer these scooters are cool you rent the scooters and then just drop them off we should have rented those around we should have but we don’t know the town or the rules or anything it be too hard right yeah you get look 30 minutes for free 30 minutes free ride we could have had that we also did a ton of walking got in some exercise instead of just being sat on the cruise so yeah but riding at sco is fun it is fun but we have our own at home yeah we do we’ll wait till we get home then to play yeah and we’re back at the cruise terminal okay and we showed our y Club um Voyage cards not worth it right uh there’s a guy here with yach yach Club sign so we joined him and he’s going to walk us back on and put us in the priority elevator back up to the Art Club oh really oh good for you well we’re on Deck four and we used our card our yach club card to call the elevator and then it lights up like this priority service and once we get in the elevator came straight down from the top floor and then we use our car to get in or out and no one else unless you’re in the ook can join our elevator and there was like probably 100 people 50 people reading there yeah we just went straight through everyone yep crazy yep Club we’re back at the ship and lunch today is King corons grilled and I’ve got a beef dish and then mushrooms this is our favorite place for eating isn’t it very much so cuz you get it’s very casual the food’s hot there’s never anyone at the buffet so quiet it’s very small Buffet intimate but you get to say look at the view it’s a small but you can always find something sorry for the glass but you can see beyond the glass we are leaving laspia a beautiful Port City we really enjoyed the day there look at the clouds on top of the mountains just sat there goodbye little [Music] seagull Al Marcella she’s going to fast trackers through the ship she knows all the shortcuts and here’s another bar we’re going into we haven’t been to any of these bars yeah we stayed in the yach club here’s another with some live music and danc in here’s another bar cappuccino bar it sells alcohol and everything you want and then we’re in the main part of the ship in the auditorium oh I got to keep following going to get left behind we’re heading towards uh the rear of the ship the stern all right the stern the back of the ship there’s another [Music] bar with live [Music] music yeah this is the yach club restaurant we ask for a table for two all the staff are amazing aren’t they you know what to be honest you are treated like absolute royalty it’s been amazing like honestly like but the staff they’re not false they’re genuinely they not they beautiful nice people 100% just love talking right and we love hearing about their hometowns country good how are you very good thank you very much nice to see you can I video you is it okay okay thank you much it’s really nice is okay where you from I’m from Indonesia also oh Indonesia oh same Jakarta okay that’s my beef capacho what you got Ronda Greek salad beef cabacho it’s basically shaved raw beef it’s not cooked but flavor is awesome the Greek salad with feta cheese with feta cheese and olives oh R’s got lasagna there snow Italian snow beautiful and I’ve got lamb chops they do look good they do wow it’ll be amazing you’re on MSC Yacht Club Cruise yeah I love it so I am having lasagna lasagna lasagna they say it lasag lasagna in Italy all yeah let’s see well on a cruise ship in Italy we are in Italy right now yeah thumbs up not fatty not sickly delicious awesome really good um are you having dessert Ronda I am going to get dessert what do you have for surve uh strawberry sorbet is a nice aome yeah I would like to have the cheese trolley selection the cheese right there’s a cheese plate so that was a beautiful meal in the o restaurant oh my God absolutely delicious it’s 10:00 at night that’s late for us yeah it’s very late for us so we’re just going to walk in the fresh air and then back to our cabin and just chill out for the night but what a great day eh lasia lasia loved the town and then we came back got spoiled with a beautiful dinner and drinks and service and yeah we love it okay okay
