If Reddit can’t tell the difference between these two pasta sauces, who can?

for the first time we are now saddled with the question marinara versus traditional I don’t know I don’t know what the difference is and if they don’t know what it means on Reddit no one knows it’s very very processed tasting um the dried oregano they go crazy with the dried oregano in these parts that tastes the same hang on can I get it let me let me level it out and see if just a visual difference okay it’s thicker the traditional is the Trad sauce is thicker right am I right philis marinara this is a little thinner it’s a little thinner than the Trad sauce and it tastes exactly the same

  1. Have you ever seen Ramsey or Flay do ranking videos? No you haven't because they know better. Andrew, I love you brother, but stop destroying your own brand.

  2. Next time on Binging with Alvin, we take a look at Disney's Acolyte with a ghost pepper clam dish that will leave you begging for no more!!!😂

  3. It's like when you go to the eye doctors and they say – which looks better .. this one? Or this one? – They're both the same!!!

  4. I believe the traditional sauce is also more fine. Marinara tends to have little chunks of tomatoes and other veggies

  5. fun facte i dont think that there is dryed Oregano inside of it if it more like oil or something that taste like orgregano XD Dont buy product like that its cheating on the buyer. Do it yourself its cheaper and tastes better.

  6. In some brands, I have found that the “marinara” labeled sauce does not contain any HFCS or any other sweetener while the “traditional” sauce does.

  7. Jar sauce is the devil. What are the stabby seasonings in every tomato based product? No way it is tomato peel lol never present when I process my own 🍅

  8. marinara is made to be used as dipping or pizza sauce, while traditional is for pasta. same sauce but different type of conaistency

  9. marinara where i come from means that it has garlic in it, normal passata is just tomato

  10. I've definitely had a traditional pasta sauce, and a marinara sauce that have a difference of taste

So perhaps it's just a Barillo thing?

  11. According to the italian chef at my work marinara has way more garlic but who knows if that's true 😊

  12. Weird. I think the marinara sauce has more depth of flavor than the traditional sauce. But everyone's taste buds be different after all.

  13. I genuinely don’t think there’s a well defined difference. I guess it typically includes more herbs than a regular pomodoro sauce. If I’m not mistaken the term marinara isn’t used to describe sauce in Italy.

  14. The Simpsons scene where Duff, Duff Lite and Duff Dry come from the same tube comes to mind.

  15. Are they just trying to double their sales prices by calling one of their jars a different thing? Is that legal?
