[Music] hi this is greg the wine traveler welcome back to my channel madonna de lotte is located between nagolipo senna and oriento so if you’re in either place you can make a quick trip there also if you’re staying at montevideo it’s a mountain town right over the lake it’s a beautiful view of the lake and the volcanic island if you need any help planning your italian wine vacation let me know i can help the first one we’re going to try is the orbierto 2019. it’s a very interesting wine made of four varieties that are local the procec classical been made for hundreds of years and the grapeviles have adapted and mutated over the years to become something totally unique and different from any other place that only happens with the passage of centuries let’s give the wine a try the wine is definitely fruity acidic also i’m getting a little bit of odor of something like a giver meaner it’s a light body wine but it’s great with cheese that’s my opinion but it’s also just a full-size zipper if you want this wine is a rosario brut spumente 2019. the grapes are cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc which are grown locally in the volcanic soil this is a really interesting wine and i don’t put it in a flute because i want to get my nose in there and give it a good smell the aroma it’s fresh not too fruity the flavor is pomegranate cranberry a little bit and a little bit of rose perhaps that’s just my opinion but i’m going to tell you it’s a really nice rose just a little bit of sweetness this wine will go with fruit it’ll go with cheese it’ll go with fish fish would be a really nice accompaniment to this wine but i also think some spicy food would be great thai food indian food fish tacos that’s what i’m going to serve this with because the spiciness is balanced with the refreshing bubbly nature of espomante this wine is 2018 hombre igt and it has mostly cabernet franc with a little bit of cabernet sauvignon with the nice volcanic and sandy soil i’m sure it’s going to be different than say a bordeaux the aroma is deep a little bit jammy a little bit of leather there’s that fruity punch that you’d expect but the tannins are coming at me really strong there’s a lot of minerality in it as well this wine is not like other cabernet francs not sure if it’s my favorite or not you give it a try and decide yourself [Music] you
