It’s Monday and time for classic meatballs done just right 👌
We use a special beef- pork-veal mix from Joseph’s Classic butcher, fry them in olive oil and garlic, and finish in the oven with some homemade marinara , grated Parm, fresh garden basil and shredded mozzarella- it’s magic on a plate 😃
Paired with a full bodied Chianti Classico wine, this dish has everyone happy

Mexico has Taco Tuesday, Italy has meatball Monday 😂
Fried meatballs with a little marinara and melted mozzarella are a perfect Monday dinner- along with a nice Chianti who’s better than you😃
PS- the chopped mortadella mixed into the meatball mix makes a big difference. I discovered this ‘hack’ in Milan a few years ago and use it every time now. You can also fry the meatballs in an olive oil and butter mix- it’s richer and adds new flavors
Looks absolutely delicious! If you cook once, eat twice, you could slice the meatballs and add to a homemade pizza!
