The Fastest Homemade Pizza Recipe

bread and butter pizza that’s right thanks to a little bit of butter and one extra but very simple step we are turning which usually a very sad insipid substitute into what is by far the best no dough pizza hack ever what we’ll do next is generously butter both sides and the reason we have to butter both sides is because we need this butter to help us do two things right the bottom is going to help us get a beautiful crispy crust whereas the butter on the top side is going to insulate the bread from the pizza sauce above and beyond texture butter tastes really good with tomato sauce and Parmesan so I’m not going to say this might actually be better than regular pizza but I’m definitely not going to say it’s not but if somehow you’ve already figured out this trick you my friend are a genius

  1. It seems to me like it might matter what kind of bread you're using their, and I can't quite tell. Italian? Wheat?

  2. I've used almost everything available to do this hack. Pita bread is a great option, but my favorite is English muffins.

  3. I have figured this out with almost any kind of bread. But I don't butter the sauce side. I like how it does that way. Also, any topping you like on pizza works for pizza toast as well.
    😊

  4. I’ve made Chef John’s version of this and it’s delicious!!

I make sure I butter all the way to the edge and put the marinara all the way to the edge so the bread doesn’t burn. Sadly I just use Parmesan from the green container, but I do use Rao’s marinara. I’ve used both mozzarella and provolone and like the mozzarella a little better just because it’s easier to eat (with the provolone, you take a bite and all the cheese comes off).
I’ve never done it with pepperoni, but it’s exceptionally delicious and easy with just cheese.
You have to use parchment paper so the parm sticks to the bread.

  5. It works even faster in an airfryer. Pro tip is to microwave the pizza breads so they get a lil mushy and the cheese melts. Airfryer pizza bread takes like 10mins. Its amazing

  6. Thank you…I am a genius!..
I've been telling a friend to do this…she thinks I'm crazy. Cheif John it appears I keep good company!

  7. I love your programs. I can't believe you did NOT mention the type in of bread you used !
    I think it is sourdough.
