could this be one of the best Terraces you have ever seen just wait just wait while you see this [Music] one so we’re back in the stunning town of palombaro my hometown obviously I’m a little bit biased to this place I do love it fantastic place this is just being finished this is going to be a a B&B more work always people working just as I’m doing the video good to see though good to see workers doing things rocker asso that’s the number one ski resort in AB Bruto 48 km faran Martino 10 and then in the opposite direction we’ve got pescara 61 km guad 20 pip mon 11 K 46 we’re close to everything so within 105 minutes we have faran Martino Ki guia in this town itself we have uh a restaurant at the top a bar here we have two mini markets pharmacist two doctors you do need just going to get run over you do need public transport when you’re here there is some public transport that runs in line with the buses but that’s usually first thing in the morning and last thing at night got another bed and breakfast here as well and we’ve got a very joyful dog that’s playing with a shoe up on a balcony he’s the happiest dog in the world and this is the Beautiful beautiful Historical Center and this is where the property is that we’re going to see today and it’s literally a 5minute walk down here we also have a tabaki here so we do have one of everything but then we have neighboring cley that has the bigger supermarkets so although you may think this is quiet it is quiet now because it is early morning kids are at school people are at work that’s life in these beautiful Villages but believe me it’s so funny look if you could see this dog’s face he’s got a shoe and he just wants to play catch with the shoe on a balcony I don’t know how that’s going to work out but this place is an amazing place to live and the property I’ve got you for de can’t get my words out the property that I’ve got for you today well the Terrace is just unbelievable the property is in great condition and it’s in the heart of the stunning Historical Center of palaro let’s head down to the bottom of the town so I can show you where you would park and then we’ll take you to have a look around the property this is where you would park your car I’ve just to disturb this very nice little dog here he wants to just speak to you all so this is where you would park your car for this property lots of uh space around and the the great thing about Palomar as well as well as all the other things I’ve said is the amazing views you’ve got the mountains and the mayella uh national park at this side and then you turn around and just look at this I was Hing he was going to be quiet and look at this how amazing is this this is looking right down towards little bit hazy today the sea is actually there said it before on other videos we have CLE straight in front of us on the hill not sure again if I’m pointing the right place because the size of the camera once you drop down the hill from Palomar I don’t if you can see the road you drop down the hill and it’s all main roads and from the bottom so from here to the coast 30 minutes look how stunning this is we have lancho that is half an hour away that is one to the Third Hill across or just over there you’ll find the huge chental commercial commercial centers if you really want that kind of thing but you don’t need it we have supermarkets in Carley we’re close to everything here and what incredible scenery then we have guier that is a beautiful town just with in the back of it here how amazing is this for a location are you ready to go and see the house okay let me show you how close to parking it is and then I’m going to pick up the video once we get up there shame the clouds are bubbling over today still looks spectacular though doesn’t it absolutely spectacular and the Terrace that you’re going to see on this one just wait the house is where that person is up there so it’s 2 minutes walk to parking you ready just wait while you see this one so the car park that I’ve just shown you is literally just at the end here you can see the railings and I left my car just just around the corner so really easy to get to even though you’re right in the beautiful Historical Center of Palomar and the property we’re going to see today take a look at this for a bit of History so this ancient Palazo you actually get how can I explain this basically you get from this door and this one that I’ll show you later what’s in there so you get the whole of this section and then the top the whole top floor what a place this is and inside was restored around about 8 nine years ago uh they had the roof done at the same time not a completely new roof but they had all the tiles taken off and new um new felt putting on a new cement screed putting on and then Towes putting back on and they had the electrics done boiler all of that kind of thing so it is a habitable property obviously there is some work to be done in the front if you want to but to be hon honest with you I don’t think I would most of the windows have been changed there’s a couple I think there’s this one here and the top one that needs to be done and one around the back but I’d be tempted to keep it like this maybe some repair some of these these balconies if if you want them but when you see the Terrace on this you are going to be blown away and then in here that I will show you later um there’s a lot of space in there but that would need some work to uh uh to do up but if you wanted to that could be another apartment uh if if needed but I’d be tempted to use it as it is now storage and things like that church bells I’ve been here since 8:00 this morning and just remember that the church starts its Bells at 9:00 isn’t that a beautiful sound [Music] [Laughter] amazing I didn’t I honestly did not look at my watch but there you go blessed Again by The Bells okay so just in case you’re wondering the church is actually here but the bell tower is behind so you don’t have to don’t have to worry about that and to be honest with you there’s nothing nicer than the sound of bells anyway okay so that’s the outside of the building are you ready to go in let’s do it beautiful entrance that leads us straight onto uh a staircase and it’s really strange this I’m saying it’s really strange these buildings are old there’s one up the road that says 1756 on it so this is going to be around about that time maybe even before I don’t know if you can see on the camera slightly slanting staircase brilliant love it but it’s all strong sturdy it’s all made from Stone and obviously tiles now and things like that in here there is a door on this uh on this part in here we have a boiler which is in good condition and quite a large storage room you’re going to be surprised to hear that uh I’ve got an excuse for not bringing my torch this time that’s because I wasn’t expecting to do this video but it goes back at least 4 M and this actually you can get into that other side that I show you from the outside uh through there if you punch through there you go into the the part that I’m going to show you later onwards and upwards nice comfortable stairs they’re not steep even my knees are not creaking some quite Handy Storage areas here it’s actually quite quite big in there again it goes back another probably 3 m only narrow but always good to have storage little look in this one and another handy store this looks like what used to be an old staircase of some sort who knows where it went to before but it would got to in this house but that was probably possibly the original staircase who knows okay heading up obviously can you hear my knee cracking I’m getting old I’m 50 this year terrible anyway nice door really like this nice wooden door they have kept quite a few of the old Fe features I do like that quite a a modern kitchen good size kitchen Galley style kitchen and this is one of the windows that would need uh need changing if you wanted to doesn’t have to be done nice view of some of the the older buildings in town very good size good size indeed this could almost be like a a breakfast bar if you had a maybe a longer one the bins I think i’ be tempted to put downstairs where the where the boiler is little things I always have to say something D then you have washing machine and sink around this little little corner as you can see the radiators great condition the void’s in great condition this place is good to go let’s LIF in now the windows in great condition and I’m am not going to spoil what’s to come you’ve had a little sneak preview on the uh on the opener I’m not giving you any more you have to wait be patient I’m going to do the Terrace towards the end is that just a ploy to keep you watching the video of course it is that’s what YouTubers do is that what I am now a YouTuber keep telling my kids that anyway moving on this originally was a dining area could easily be dining stroke Lounge again if uh if needs be because you have access to that amazing Terrace that I’m going to show you later plus you’re right next to the kitchen however the current owner um lives here on his own and he decided to change one of the bedrooms stairs because there was originally three bedrooms and could be three again into a lounge and the lounge up there is fantastic I do understand why it’s done that and I think I would be tempted to keep that but I think here I would definitely have a dining room as it’s next to the kitchen and again great radiator points electrics are all fa I think it was done 8 nine years ago something like that lovely windows with the interior shut in in yeah interior shutters that what you say yeah double glazing and a certain person I won’t mention him name his name started to call me double glaze Dave for reasons for reasons that I would have to show you put a link to another video uh and tell you why but they these are great these are wood on the inside and they are aluminum wood effect on the outside fantastic and just have a look quick look nothing oh the clouds are coming over that’s not fair anyway quick look just wait love all these little little bits of wood and who knows who knows what was there as long as nobody knocks back I’m not really interested okay moving on some more stairs however they are comfortable these are a little bit steeper than the other ones but they’re still fine absolutely fine and what I love there’s a bul that’s gone out on this uh on this um Corridor that’s not what I love what I love is this little round window let have a quick look it’s not fair the clouds are coming down I wanted you to see the full mountains always the same isn’t it going to show you that in a second in fact no I we’ll stick to the living space so this is the lounge that he decided to create which originally was the master bedroom hence why there is still a wardrobe here and there’s also an on Suite but again I think he’s cleverly done this because this is a great Lounge I love the fact you’re on the top floor and if needs be you could have a sofa bed there’s already two beds and another bathroom if needs be you could have a sofa bed or if you wanted you could put it back to a bedroom whichever whichever you choose you choose great size though isn’t it brilliant size these double doors this is what I was saying before about maybe some of the some of the railings could be done and these historical centers yeah they’re not as populated as before but they’re just amazing and people are buying there’s one just around the corner here on the right um there’s I think we’ve sold about three three or four uh just in the last few months in the Historical Center and over the last 18 years I’ve been doing it at countless houses that we’ve sold in palaro CU it’s fantastic beautiful location beautiful views and close to everything okay you got this in your mind would it be a bedroom for you or would you keep the lounge the choice is yours just to let you know as well when you see cracks like this these are I’ve already had my geometer look at it what they call superficial cracks in the sense of it’s just just the plaster that obviously we live in Italy Italy moves all the time and over the years you’re always going to get little cracks you shouldn’t really worry about things like that obviously if it’s an enormous crack then you need some a professional to come and look at it but things like that just just happen it’s just the way it is and here originally was the on Suite you may be wondering where the shower is but if you look behind me there it is and it’s a great size shower as well easily get two people in there nice doors and we have a little bit of storage in here as well again an old rickety an old rickety uh what’s the word ladder and wood wood stairs just imagine the stories behind this place we’re talking 300 years more than that unbelievable okay now let’s show you the night area before we go down to the stunning stunning part of this place so we have one double bed in here which is currently being used as the master bedroom and he uses the bathroom that we’ve just been to when he has guests and again you’ll see why shortly great size there quite a lot of furniture in here and the windows here I don’t know if you noticed it a little bit down he’s put some sort of film on these just to give them a little bit of a tint you don’t need that if you wanted you could put Shutters on the inside or whatever whatever you wanted to do and then we have the guest bedroom which again is a double I don’t know if that bed could be turned that way maybe it could not sure to me it looks like there’s room to do that so you can get in each side but anyway and the great thing about this guest bedroom is it has a super huge bathroom with a fulls siize bath don’t see that very often today little patch above the B above the bath that was old damage old old damage that just needs finishing off and uh and painting I said the roof they did they did get the roof done uh they did a lot of work on this place I it was about must be 8 nine years ago but they did a lot that’s a great size great size bathroom originally the other two rooms that I’ve shown you the lounge and the second bedroom they were both bedrooms and this room then was almost like a like an office type thing if I remember rightly in the beginning um then the two bedrooms had access to this bathroom but obviously there is another bathroom up here anyway so you can play around a little bit with the layout what do you think so far I love I love this I love this loung you want have another quick look great space let me know in the comments what you would do okay let’s head down I suppose I better show you the the best part hadn’t I now the sun’s gone in and the clouds have come over just my luck I came purposely we we’re going through a strange strange weather um session you call it that strange weather we’re going through strange weather patterns should I say at the moment where it’s sunny and boil in one moment then cloudy and rainy it just doesn’t know what it wants to do anyway get ready and just imagine sat out here now it is early morning so the sun’s not fully on the Terrace yet we’re just after 9:00 but in another probably half an hour you’re going to be full of sun all day are you ready let me put the camera down should we do the Cinematic thing should I change the music and do the Cinematic here’s the swipe up the slow motion swipe are you getting annoyed with me yet wow now this is stunning absolutely stunning that’s the town so you’re 2 minutes into the into the town how incredible is this Terrace let me give you a few pointers it’s a shame you’re not seeing the tops of the mountains but and look how green it is as well and here in Autumn time when all of this goes an orangey readyy orange and it’s just it’s mindblowing really is then you get the snow on the tops we get very little snow here in the town I live between here and pip Monte which is the next town and we get very very little snow unfortunately I’m not going to go right to the edge I’ll show you over the edge so quite high up at this side I’m not even going to look at the video camera cuz that makes me nervous it’s all right these sides cuz you’ve got other Terraces but you’ve got the highest Terrace not that Italians use their Terraces anyway anyway what was I saying the changes in in the weather and even though we get very little of any snow here it’s always on the tops of the mountains roughly where the clouds are touching now so you still get that view how spectacular is this could you imagine spending your mornings lunches evenings out here so if you like walking here between the two mountains there’s walks here there’s also a cave up here that is called gr santangelo that is that has a um a hermit’s chapel we’re talking over a thousand years of the remains of a small Chapel in a cave just up in the mountains here there is enough walking here to see you through a lifetime then we have beautiful penp Monte I don’t know if I’m pointing the right places because this screen I mentioned before is quite small and if you can make out a line that runs into the mountain that’s balzo balzo have a look at that on the internet b z o o the scenery there is incredible and there’s a couple of resta in in pen Monte um then on from that we have Baka Deval mouth of the valley that is just over this Edge and then to the right we have guier gril which is about 20 minutes from here then going back to this side we have uh farahan Martino that is just over the the ridge here it’s famous for Deo pasta and behind me heading towards the coast we have Ki so you’re so close to everything people sometimes watch these and say that they they’re remote these towns and they’re dying off and blah blah blah and that’s not true they’re actually regenerating these places and I know because I live here and these are the number one places that people like to buy just unfortunately like the whole of Italy the historical centers have less people living them people live on this is sort of the newer part if you like that then stretches up to the church I don’t know if you can see the church at the top stretches up there and people live in those sections there’s still people live in the historical centers and they still get looked after but people just go for apartments and that kind of thing that’s just that’s just the way it is in Italy but the historical centers are what everybody wants to see what everybody want to to come and touch and and walk around and and these are the the best parts for me so there you go and we have all the facilities that we need here in the town and if we need more we have doctors we have two doctors we have butchers we have General Store or two General Stores we have a restaurant we have a bar we have a post office we have a pharmacist what more do you need we have a school for kids up to 12 I think it is 12 13 what more can we ask for we have a great xack community that integrates extremely well with the locals it’s just beautiful stunning usually up here as well following the line from pen appear mon following the mountain up up here usually there you would see some of the uh the telephone masks that are where the ski resort is anyway back to our house the back of the property probably could do with some uh some uh TLC there is actually another window there not sure if that would be into the lounge if you wanted to open that but to be honest with you for this price it it’s uh it’s priced extremely well these chimneys these must have be belong to and probably this one as well to people below I would uh I would guess I need to check with that with the owner but I’m presuming it will be that’s a normal thing obviously if you live below you do have to get to the top somehow amazing absolutely amazing so we’re going to have a look at the the area downstairs have you seen enough of this Terrace how can you see enough of this Terrace I could just sit out here now all day and enjoy this but I can’t because I have to work so let’s head in let’s head down and let’s go and look at the extra storage rooms that you have downstairs so back outside going to now show you this part of the building this does need work as I’ve said but extremely handy for storage just imagine what would have been here before so we take a little look around this area so there was potentially a loss of sound on that part not quite sure what happened it kept coming up as errors on my uh on my card but I’ve looked back at the video and it was done so that’s the main thing and there you go what do you think of this one do you fancy a piece of History amazing isn’t it I’m going to do a quick final thought because there’s not a lot else I can say about this place and especially especially that stunning [Music] Terrace let’s go to final [Music] thoughts so it is going to be a quick final thought on this one because what else can I say other than stunning what else can I say about this one price is fantastic the space fantastic location amazing and this you don’t often find Terraces this kind of size you could have a whole Lounge out here amazing what an incredible place and I live only 5 minutes away as well so another another great selling point for some okay folks you know what I’m going to say as well as saying thank you for all your support as usual I’m going to say whatever you
