Doing day trip to St. Moritz Switzerland from Milan Italy is totally easy and you can do it on your own which is way better than getting a tour.

From Milan, you can take the 7 AM train ride from Milano Centrale going to Tirano. Travel time is around 4 hours. Upon reaching Tirano station, on the opposite side you will see the Bernina trains. There are two types of trains: One is the Bernina Express and the other is the regional/local train which takes the same route. If you want a panoramic view of the alps, you can take the Bernina express while the reginal train doesn’t have the panoramic windows instead you can open up your windows so you can take a perfect picture view without glares. Travelling from Tirano to St. Moritz is around 3-4 hours. You will get to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps. Never miss a single view! St. Moritz is a high Alpine resort town in the Engadine in Switzerland where you can walk around for a day trip, have your lunch and drink wine in nearby restaurants and around 3PM, you can catch a train back to Tirano as Tirano’s last train going back to Milan is at 7 PM..
