Eating at The Garlic Italian Restaurant in New Smyrna Beach, FL | Italian Restaurant Review

In today’s video, we had a suggestion to eat at an Italian restaurant in New Smyrna Beach, Florida called The Garlic. This Italian restaurant was highly suggested. New Smyrna Beach is a very popular spot in Florida. Lots of people travel there. The Garlic is a very unique restaurant that has indoor and outdoor seating. It is a really large restaurant. There was so much to see upon arriving but luckily we got seated right away. As we were walking, we saw the outdoor seating, the indoor seating, and you walk through a gift shop. The menu is a decent size and they have amazing options to choose from. It was very hard to pick which Italian dish we wanted. They do bring out bread and garlic with oil and vinegar to dip the bread in. Very unique!we started off with the Clams and they were some of the best we have had. Stinkin’ good! We got two amazing entrees and they came with salads. Both dishes were stinkin’ good. Then we had to try some dessert which we got the Tiramisu and it was really good. Our waitress was great! It was expensive but for the experience and for the quality of food, it was worth it. We ended up giving this place a stinkin’ good. Overall, The Garlic was excellent and if you are looking for an Italian restaurant in New Smyrna Beach, FL, definitely come here and give it a try!

tonight we are in New Smyrna Beach and this was a very very highly suggested location it is a Stones Throw from Norwoods M which we absolutely love Norwoods mhm we’ll put that video at the end of this video that you can watch but the restaurant we are at tonight is the Garlic probably already guessed it by now right now the issue is there’s hardly any place to park they don’t do reservations it opens at 4:00 first come first served it is 6:30 but we’re going to wait it out regardless of how long it is because we’re already committed heard great things about this place M we both are starving M have no idea what to get I’ve been I looked at the menu earlier like this morning and have pondered it all day and just don’t not looked at the menu so you’re going in cold yeah I’m going in warm I just don’t know what I’m I’m excited let’s go check it [Music] out all right parking is all over the place here they have extra parking there’s even public parking down the road we got lucky and blessed as one person was leaving we were able to pull right in um I’m going to say there’s going to be a little bit of a wait for sure but like I said we’re committed we’re here we’re going to do it maybe we’ll get lucky and there won’t be a wait we’ll find out very cool place so far they do have this little photo op um I don’t even know what’s going on here there’s just so much stuff going on but I guess right here is where you put your name down you can sit inside or outside and look at this we just got called back so no wait right now for two people looks like it should be a big wait oh restrooms it shows this way look at this holy cow there’s no wait for us this is insane I don’t even know what I’m filming right now we’re just walking this is the coolest little oh restrooms are there I have no idea what’s going on right now this is unbelievable wow this place is huge we’re going to be right here here’s a look at the drink menu which is going to be a lot of wine here champagne and sparkling wine white wine The Sweet Life red wines $310 red wines $435 wine makes every meal an occasion every table more elegant every day more civilized more wines and then specialty cocktails and Specialty martinis oh and some beer at the bottom apparently we walked through the gift shop already I mean this place is huge very large Place very cool very crowded all right here’s a look at the menu garlic makes it good let’s start with the appetizers they also have um their full menu on their website here’s a look at the pasta they have I’m torn between the tortillini the manicotti and then even the chicken alfredo which is on another page if we open open it up here there it is or the chicken alfredo so I don’t know yet comment below on what your favorite thing is to get here 800° o and over here we have salads [Music] and then that was the full menu there’s nothing on the back so we showed you the menu we’re deciding on an appetizer here and then when we’re finished we’ll walk around and kind of show you the place cuz this is all the first time here lot going on they write down all of their specials on a lasagna noodle here so here’s what their specials are now they did bring out Waters and we’re just going to um keep Waters tonight we’ll let you know what those are like and they just brought some bread here and they said this is their roasted garlic you treat it like butter you rip and dip they also put some oil and vinegar on it as well we’re maybe looking at the clams because they’re locally Harvest fresh little neck clams for an appetizer Timber’s doing the Pasta Pomodoro and then I think I’m going to do the Quattro cheese manicotti something different the water is good a lot just happened with ordering though we got the clam she said we’re going to yeah yeah we got the clam she said we’re going to love the clams both of our Entre come with a salad just a garden salad you can upgrade to a Caesar salad but she said the dressing’s right here on the table so we just kept normal salads is it good I also asked her what is the most popular item and she said everything heading to the bathroom check this wall out we got some live music starting up also another look at the oh look at this another look at the [Music] bar here’s some breads next to their gift shop and then their gift Shop’s right through here oh wow of course garlic and then this is a whole another seating area I guess this might be considered more of the outdoor seating big fireplace right there another bar another whole area to sit in over this way oh crab right there back in the gift shop going back to the seit since it’s called The Garlic you got to smush the bread in there get some garlic on there not strong oh gotcha very good here we go yeah that’s very good I think we’re starting to kind of figure everything out out now but that was pretty busy there for a little bit yeah there’s a lot going on here showed you the gift shop showed you the outdoor SE showed you the indoor seating this is a massive Place very cool and here’s a look at those clams they look good and it really didn’t take too long to get them considering how busy it is right now so excited to give these a try they they look really [Music] good and when you get these uh little twers tables there’s not a whole lot of table space so just be aware of that um but at least we got seated right away these are very hot as in temperature hot here we go I would give those stinking good flavoring is amazing what do you think stinking good y now it is slightly spicy because there are chili flakes in there but um overall like we said really good clams probably some of the best I’ve ever had honestly yeah definitely watch out for those chili powder flakes they can hit you they can really hit you they were talking about dessert a lot to ask but I heard teriso chocolate cake and something else um it’s a ho in place so we got bread we got clams they’re bringing salads got our entree and then probably a dessert that’s why we just went with the waters today water’s good Bread’s good clams were stinking good I’m excited for the meal I could get a meat with my manicotti and timers you could get a meatball or just chicken chicken or something like that I really wanted to try their alfredo sauce but I’m glad I chose the manot here is a look at the salad she said be careful with the dressing it comes out very fast oh I got to eat a pepper now shoot yes please [Music] the pepper is spicy just so you know whoa here’s the entree so mine came with marinara but she said um the Bing sauce is like the best so I said do whatever you you want to mine so I think I think it’s the bowling yce instead of the marinara and then here’s yours holy cow look at that both plates are warm so be careful you can see the steam just flying right off of that and then um that Plate’s hot this plate isn’t so uh going to dig right in anything that has Quattro cheeses on it I’m going to enjoy be careful look at all that steam whoever suggested the garlic I think multiple people did thank you because this is some of the best manicotti I’ve ever had stinking good it’s so good how’s yours stinking good stinking good on yours too and she just asked if I wanted some more cheese which of course the answer is yes so she brought some cheese out of like a I don’t want to say bucket cuz it wasn’t a bucket but they had just this big thing of serving bowl look at that so good we did a little uh swap I’m going to try hers now the sauce on yours is really good yeah it’s light and fresh we are slowing way down both portion sizes are good especially if you get all the extra food we did already have clams and bread and we’re getting dessert but um I’ve been eating we’ve been eating a while yeah here’s a look at some more Entre yeah they’ve got every dessert known to man carrot cake cheesecake tiasu chocolate cake chocolate cake lava cake with lava in the middle sometime a peanut butterup peanut butter pie with an Oreo on top canoli we went with tiar massou but about everything you can ever think of and here is that tiasu and there’s already a bite out of it I wonder why is it good very good I’m excited to try it it’s definitely a good dessert would recommend it did get pretty loud in here though um it’s currently 7:44 all right here is a look at the final bill $838 amazing food I knew it would be pricey but it’s I mean it’s a really good spot our waitress was great and I mean had we not gotten the clams or the dessert it’d be about 50 bucks but when you want to come here and do a full review you got to get it all so it probably would have been closer to 100 if we would have gotten drinks $83 89 so there was a very large party behind us they took all of these tables so you can get seated if you have a large party but parties are separated by those candlesticks over there we are heading outside [Music] oh yeah going through the gift shop again heading this way taking a right heading up this way heading back up here where we checked in right here oh is it starting to rain maybe yeah it’s starting to rain and we are getting heavily rained on now so we got to bust it to the car but just some more of the outdoor area w got rained on there it’s raining pretty good right now raining pretty good I need it yeah we do need it I’m absolutely stuffed what about you mhm like full full full full I don’t feel sick but I’m full uh borderline definitely borderline I just can’t quit when food tastes that good very good I think we both give this an overall stinking good restaurant lives up to the hype it does live up to the hype but very good Norwoods is good too just down the road so a couple great spots here there uni spots unique spots yeah that I would love to explore a little bit more but um it is a Thursday night and that’s how crowded it was yeah in the summer summer I’m sure it’s going to be crowded maybe come when it opens I don’t know although we got seated like we got seated right away a fairly small group you don’t won’t have to wait long at least we didn’t but larger groups did have to yeah it was very good they have a that’s a well oiled machine if you will of a restaurant so again appreciate the suggestion that was a good one I’m glad we came here and ate me too but I think that’s going to wrap it up here from
