welcome to the grocery store here in Florence near where we’re staying so we were a little derailed this morning we’re supposed to go on a uh walk tour food tour but my back decided not to behave this morning so after a few bouts of ice and pacing a lot my back is loosened back up again so I’m ready to continue my day so we’re at the grocery store they have a lot of pre-made stuff we’re going to grab some stuff and go sit on our balcony and uh join us for whever today brings us cuz I have no [Music] idea so this is the one you’re getting yes she’s just and this is how much 86 a ke that’s pretty expensive stuff and it’s it what what is it is pjo yes it’s a type of Futo that he’s getting only 50 Gams of which would be about four slices here they hand cut it wow okay so Evan bought this soda and we’re hoping that it tastes like frosa so go ahead and pour we got some ice from downstairs at the bar and this is when we when we put the the translate up to it it looked like it said grapefruit so and a light version so and almost almost all right my turn extremely close I almost want to say this is better I think it’s sweeter and less bubbly definitely less bubbly I like the less bubbly not bad that was a good choice Google Translate is so great make sure you download it before you um come to a foreign country and it it’s great because not only does it just do the words but it also can hold your camera up and it’ll translate what you’re reading so it’s great all right we’ve got quite the spread here we’ll show you everything all right you know why like Sano V say so we found this bottle of wine €3 85 basically just over four bucks US Dollars and we’re hoping it’s good but it’s from Italy it’s made here it’s San ofast I don’t understand why it wouldn’t be good but the fact that it’s this cheap is organic I mean and it’s organic yeah you cannot buy organic wine in the US for $3.85 yeah it looks like wine smells good we don’t have wine glasses we just just put it was in the room okay it’s not as good as the last two San V we had last night was the Kean version but it’s for $3.85 it’s not horrible what’s your take it’s a little drier I’ve had much more expensive wines mhm that were not even as good as this wow not that this is great yeah but you know first of all the expectations are low for € 385 for less than $5 on a scale of 1 to 10 would you give it for less than $5 you got to give it a 10 that’s it $385 in the supermarket all right we also have an aasta and then oh this is the expense I want to see how you like this I will not be trying this this is how much $85 what was this it was $89 89 per kilo right and a kilo is two and a half is2 2.2 lbs so we only got we had to do slices this is the most expensive Pudo you ever ever had oh no I’ve had more expensive P though than this but he we only got some slices so it was this total was $4 like 480 what 465 yearo yes yeah 50 gr or right 54 5 54 G is it worth melting your mouth is that a good thing I don’t eat this stuff you got to try it really all right I guess when in Italy you eat things you don’t normally eat this is more meat than it is fat yeah that’s why I gave you that piece it’s cured mhm okay it’s okay but I don’t really like this stuff you want to try a super fatty piece no I do not want to try super fatty P next up is this that means eloro means baked and that’s we know it’s got cheese and we figured out it’s got pasta in it it looks like maybe Peas I really have no idea what the heck this is but it does look good all right here’s the bread that we got mhm good bread I mean this looks good it’s got pasta It’s got cheese it’s not as good as last nights there’s some type of meat in here there is some that’s maybe that’s what I’m tasting all right Evan got this very large uh salami you said is on top of it instead of pepperoni and they don’t do pepperoni in Italy oh they don’t do pepperoni in Italy oh very very shap oh okay and I got got this um vegetable sandwich that’s huge all right first is vegetable this is really good yeah that’s really good all right I’m taking a bite of the non salami side GL but that’s really good for groceries S Pizza we’re going to sit out here in our patio and enjoy this schmorgus board of stuff that we picked up my back is feeling better so I think tonight what we’re going to do is go down the tram go back to the main city center and uh go to one of those outdoor cafes for dinner so today is going to be mostly a food Vlog so that’s when you will see us next maybe I’ll videotape our journey there so that’s when you’ll see us [Music] next okay we stopped into uh the coffee place right near the hotel and we got Cafe compana which interprets to coffee with cream so you know it’s all going to be espresso and we have not had this yet also I got a little biscotti 40 cents for the biscotti a dollar I’m going to say $170 even though I know it’s euros that is a shot of espresso so these are the tracks right in front of the stop that we’re going to taking and there are two trains a T2 which is what we’re going to be taking and then if you want to transfer the T1 you have to go that way and then transfer at the only one place that you can transfer which is right before you get which is basically where the main train station [Music] is so we took the tram and then we just started walking walking and I had set in my phone a wine place that I want to go to later we can go there after dinner Evan cuz we’re halfway there we’ll see we’ll see I’m don’t tell the people we’ll see we might go there it depends on how my back is doing anyway we just started reading menus along the way and we were sitting outside literally right on the street and uh the good news though is that Evan can see the traffic coming cuz this is a oneway street so he can go get out of the way and I can leap yeah I’m not leaping but yeah but anyway it’s the square is right in front of us where we were yesterday um this restaurant has stuff on the menu that we have not seen yet we have not seen any seafood and we see Seafood on the menu here lots of different cool pasta dishes it’s a little fancier than the other things we’ve been eating so this is where we are stopping for dinner all right we’re choosing so we had uh appol Spritz on the street the other day and it was me so he says this one’s as good as the hotel so and he is correct there is definitely the way to and not to make in appil for and this place is good so we are back to having both olive oil and balsamic vinegar now when we go to our next city we are doing a tour of a balsamic vinegar Factory which I’m very excited about the balsamic vinegar is excellent and of course a basket of fresh bread which we will be dipping he for our starter this is Bretta can’t wait to try it and Evan got a mushroom soup right PRI mushroom soup bacon and bread it’s so thick wow okay take a bite and I think you’re going to even like this really okay well hang on anyone that doesn’t know me well or anyone that knows me well will know will know oh it’s on there sorry we’ll know that I’m really not a mushroom person but on this trip I’m trying things that are challenging okay that’s really good how is that so good mushrooms are supposed to be missing all this time trust me I don’t typically like a mushroom that’s actually not bad salty every you think everything I know I think everything’s salty all right uh let’s go with the Bretta I don’t know where to bite though cuz there’s so much going on here my God that’s all I’m going to say your reaction well it’s pett I think I’m more impressed than he is no it’s the best Bretta I’ve ever had but it’s oh okay there we go got the ravioli with the cheese inside and it has a sauce of orange and butter is it orange and butter and I had them take it normally comes with walnuts but I had them take it off and then Evan got the gargona pasta which we have not had since a place in Tampa called espositos so we’re about to taste both so Evan has tasted this don’t give me too much just you got to take a whole bite okay all right I’m getting a whole bite is wait is that meat no there’s no meat in there okay no meat that’s good that’s very good what the heck do they do that to make it taste not like argona what’s inside that it’s probably cheese and you have walnuts on the top of yours I just went to the restroom inside and inside I don’t want to bother anyone it is gorgeous inside I mean I I guess we stumbled upon this place not even realizing what a nice restaurant it is so I’m not popping a whole ravioli in my mouth but I’m taking a bite oh my God hold on the ravioli is really good in itself but that sauce is just ridiculous it’s an orange sauce you feel like you’re drinking orange juice with it but it’s amaz but it goes with everything that’s inside it yeah wow make sure it’s all gone it’s still flaming it’s flaming wow thank you so much all right we got lemon cellos as a digestive this is is it still flaming it’s still flaming flaming it’s still flaming where nope it’s done it’s done all right we’re not eating that for a while that came out flaming that is creme brulee all right we’re going to taste the lemon cello I’ve not had lemon cello yet oh is so good it’s it’s of course it’s strong it’s strongest one I’ve ever had M I had one at Disney that was pretty strong but this has got a lot of good lemon flavor so between that it’s supposed to help you digest your food better all right now we’re going to taste the crumber Evan tasted this first this is his dessert like this is his Jam so a lot of crolet that I’ve had while good are very thick almost gloopy in a way this is ridiculously smooth and the flavor is just more intense all right I’m going to try I’m more of a chocolate L girly I don’t know but I do like creme rolet I just don’t get it very often wow you know what different tell you what there’s a hint of orange yes that’s not what I was going to say though there’s a hint of orange in it but for me it is not a heavy cream like I’ve had before I wonder if the orange was a orange brandy or clac that they used to light it oh and that’s where that flavor’s coming from very slight but it’s got that marshmallowy burnt flavor on the top but this is not like a heavy heavy cream it’s very light and fluffy so good this restaurant I’m going to I have the name of it it’s Restaurante fuma I’m not I’m going to chop this up fuma eame and I’m going to I we found uh it on Google we couldn’t find it on Yelp but I will leave it down below in the description because it’s just amazing it really is we sat outside but you guys the inside of this restaurant is gorgeous look look how beautiful they’re not busy tonight but oh my gosh look how beautiful this restaurant is so if it’s raining or you don’t want to sit on the street and chance not getting smacked you can eat in here out here they have a little patio area that I didn’t know about until I saw it earlier look how pretty this is you can even sit out here highly highly recommend this restaurant and thank you to our waiter who hopefully is watching this video who was amazing and spoke amazing English so this is the square at the um off this is the street we ate on and then we have not been to the square yet look how pretty it is or have we been here no I don’t think we have if we have I don’t remember there’s so many squares there’s a gelateria place we just had dessert wow really really pretty and the Sun is setting perfect time I think we have been here because now that we’re looking around all those tents right there that’s the hotel um those are the restaurants rather and we walked down this way the first day all the way over to there but this is a huge square and a rooftop bar you just noticed this it’s supposed to be gorgeous up up there and just like that we are back on the tram heading back to the hotel so I’m going to end this Vlog right here on
