one finger more I don’t know but never mind excuse me sir thank you now they are building a brand new cookery school next door to the cafe it’s an ambitious and expensive project at a time when they are already up to their necks in work but it’s something Katie has always dreamt of it was my dream but only because we were doing the K the teaching anyway through the restaurant kitchens and it was always sort of getting in the way of the chefs and proving problematic and we never had a kitchen that was designed to teach in it’s a kitchen designed to cook in for a restaurant so then when we moved offices we thought yeah that would be a really good building to have a school in it’s right near the restaurant and uh we can still keep an eye on the two businesses the two restaurants more and more people kept saying they wanted to learn but we couldn’t take any more than 12 people the new school will be called laucha Calisi last winter when it was still their office Jan Carlo had a plan this wall is going to be knocked down everything’s going to be changed new door over there there won’t be any door there and there will be here we’re going to have the wonderful um whole uh uh induction cooking here three or four of those now 7 months later it should be ready it’s supposed to open in less than a week but that simply doesn’t look possible by Mandy we’re going to open up for the Press launch and 2 days later it’s the official opening by the Italian Ambassador and a party for 200 guests we have to finish off the course program we have to finish off all the literature that we want to give people at the launch party next week got a few little problems that TI is just go and hiding disappeared so the floor might be not completely finished I’ve ordered the equipment waiting for it to arrive heavy equipment which have been promised on Tuesday the 12th today is Wednesday no sign I maybe Friday or Saturday so that’s what we got a problem with it’s like you’re being punched from all sides and you just got to really dig deep and find the energy to be positive and say hello yes do come to our cookery school we need to finish everything by yeah the hand the magnetic catch on that you might not have enough power for Monday apparently so are we going to be on target for Monday yeah it’s going to be uh little on the tght side to provide the right Ambience as well as to cope with the heavy use it will hopefully receive the kitchen has to be top quality I think don’t think we had any idea how much a beautiful designer Italian Kitchen would cost we looked at this blank canvas downstairs and thought oh that’s great and actually not much needs to be done the walls got to be moved a little bit and then we just need to get the equipment in paint the walls and hey Presto we’ve got a cooker School
