We had a free weekend and decided head to Bologna from Milan and as much as we love the history we really just came to eat and see if the food from the Emilia-Romagna Region lived up to its hype…. Watch to see if it delivered 👀
We stayed at a hotel just across from the train station called Mercure Bologna Centro. It was an easy walk to Piazza Maggiore and all of the main attractions.
The first night we did an evening walking tour with our guy addy who told us so much more than a normal tour would have provided.

The sandwiches are to die for and are from Mo Mortadella Lab. Would eat 30 of them. you can’t lose here.
The first restaurant we ate at was actually really great we just ordered wrong. It’s in an area all the locals hang out The place was called Polpette e Crescentine
Pay attention now because if you’re traveling to bologna this is the best tortellini on the planet. The spot is Sfoglia Rina. Easy to find as it’s one of the first to pop up when you search where to eat in Bologna, but we need to make sure you don’t skip it. The line will be long. Be prepared to wait. Beyond worth it though. We ate here twice instead of trying something new.
The last restaurant we went to was Le Moline which was delicious but the late night bar ragu we had the first night was better. Still incredible though.
Not recorded was a Lebanese sandwich joint we ate at that we don’t know the name of and some Indian spot where we got some fire samosas. We don’t know the name of that either but we just wanted you to know if you happen to come across a Lebanese spot. Drop everything and eat it.

okay I and I are supposed to be leaving for vacation tomorrow I haven’t booked a thing it’s currently 11:22 at night he should be on his way home but I’m trying to book everything right now so let’s see if I can pull this off it’s a surprise where we’re going I’m going to give him the illusion of choice because where he wanted to go we didn’t have enough time to go so I took matters into my own hands I’m going to give him two little notes but they both have the same place on it so we can think he chose this is how far I’ve gotten I found the hotel I think we’re going to stay in um and train getting there by the train is easy but I had one job so I have to fulfill it I will report back soon my Spidey senses just went off and I’m pretty sure he’s about to be here in like two minutes so just got home okay I just booked the hotel I’m about to book the train tickets he wasn’t in that good of a mood when he walked in so hopefully he’s not mad I can still on the hotel just not the oh my God okay well when you’re done come here ready for dinner yeah are you even hungry mhm all right okay I have a question for you what’s the question will you be mad if I didn’t book anything okay what do you want to do anything yeah let’s do something okay what I was just wondering okay did you book something yes okay um yes I did see like you’re pretty excited about it do you want do you want a maybe go to I don’t know how to prounce to ailia and literally as I was telling Georgia why I didn’t want to run a car today we got pulled over why did you guys get pulled over cuz something about her sticker her registration yeah she didn’t have some Swiss sticker that’s supposed to be on there and her husband took it off cuz he didn’t like it what swis sticker yeah I think her car is registered and switch cuz it’s under Boutique oh it’s a company car [ __ ] that reminds me I need to do my registration so what happened I pulled over I was telling her was L telling her how we got pulled over last year uhhuh we got pulled over and yeah she got she had to pay $60 on the spot that’s how they do it here yeah she said they normally don’t pull you over I I do the US what did they do then usually just flag you down I guess I don’t even know it was literally as you were explaining to her yeah what did she say she said she miss the why you don’t want to drive in a different country did you explain to her like all the stuff mhm needed his help with train tickets anyway 10 we have to be at the train station about 1041 the verdict is in we have our hotel but we’re not going to leave he we didn’t buy tickets we’re just going to get them at the train station cuz we don’t know what time we want to wake up and get there luxury of a slow life you know you do all want because we can that’s right because I can now my packing doing okay tomorrow [Music] back leav hours okay mission number one accomplished I’m packed and ready to go let’s see if we can make it to our train on time now yeah yeah Party Time e just got up at it’s pretty much time to leave let’s see if we can make it oh no I just spit on the camera lens okay so we didn’t make the first train because we left our passports in fun fact for aspiring Travelers you have to have your passport as a foreigner to check into hotels pretty much anywhere overseas I think like any place in the world so we had to go back and get those but now we’re on our way to the train to the first train this is what we get for literally booking everything last night huh hey are you happy that we made it woo we haven’t made it yet okay but we finally made it to the train station at least yeah damn after missing every train you could possibly Miss we finally made it to a Dr and we’re eating pizza no spot excuse me it’s the Premier Place in Italy to get uh billions and billions of eyes I mean it was the quickest grown app all those eyes all that attention all that time spent on the app has to go somewhere where is it where does it go is the question doesn’t matter that’s the opportunity it’s going to go somewhere what I think is it will be really interesting to see what happens because something people aren’t talking about it’s not just the most used social media app it’s also the biggest search engine one of the biggest search engines in the world now so in 2022 there were more Tik Tok searches than Google searches if that tells you anything about how important that app is and has become to our society more Tik Tok searches than Google searches that’s crazy yeah they don’t even be on Tik Tok ever put that into perspective though about how many people are and people the reason is because they’re finding their answers there they’re not finding [ __ ] that’s cuz Google Google is filter that’s I’ve never met an Amer we made it finally we we’ve been in bolognia eastn oh my God we’ve been a balone for like 5 minutes probably 5 minutes tell everybody it’s dope it is so dope this is the view go a t dealer Hotel it’s a beautiful it’s a small it’s uh perfecto now we go explore in bolognia in Balon that’s tight wow that’s so tight look down there take a video balsamic vinegar this is not the best vinegar it’s actually like what look like this I’m stressed because the food I’m about to eat so fun do you see this what wow wow [Music] the noodles are the craziest [ __ ] I’ve ever tasted in my wow last night we had the dopest walking tour of bolognia learn the seven secrets so we can’t tell you anymore no it’s dope though I would highly recommend not doing a tour unless you to find a really dope person who’s going to tell you the truth about bolognia agree that was a good tour tour guy yeah he wasn’t legit necessarily but he was dope bolognia food tour food and wine tour let’s get it I want it all I want all the pasta I want all the parmesan I want all of Ru the Ragu all the wine yeah the wine the meats man the meats I want all today if you got it if you got it in bolognia we want to try it we want to try but really we be making our own food tours so today let’s go on guys come on get the chips out first stop on the food tour today San Carlo we’re locally it’s feeling right it’s just like local local not not touristy super local yeah like tourists don’t even go here no like I don’t even think I see a tourist they don’t allow no you have to have like a Visa for longer than a year dream life to be stuffed with delicious food wow stuff I can’t wait oh into the Ballo tell me about it dry it’s not overwhelmingly dry at all but if you like dryness it we’ll give you that sensation nice and nutty it’s like The Nutty Professor Cherry cherri Cherry grap seed beautiful color smell doesn’t do it justice is it good it’s not terrible first stop on the food tour was a bust something you should know about me and E is that we lick our plates clean like we never leave food on the plate big go but only up from here so that is why this is so crazy for us like this is wild can’t do it though can’t do it paint force it down e quarter we ordered we ordered what was supposed to be a Parmesan biscuit it was parmesan crumble with cold sauce on top cold food’s not really our favorite it was a bunch of cold pork that [ __ ] wasn’t cracking the bottle of wine was good so we going to Cork it and move on hey y’all Mike almost beat up a white girl we had to wait for this that’s not true it’s not true so what happened I was minding my own business trying to get some pasta and I’m walking up to this line that I have to wait in which by the way is a mile long and it was and they’re just looking me up and down looking at my shoes looking at no this is not angry I would have done it if I was full and look at me up and down look at my shoes looking at my f but like it wasn’t a nice look you know somebody could be eyeing you and they’re like man she looks good it was like a hater like they were sipping the haterade in line and so finally I was like um you got you got something to say so I didn’t say that I said do you need something E’s trying to act like I was so mean like I pressed her so hard I said I said do you need something excuse me is there do you need something get the [ __ ] out of here with this ninin that I just pressed this little white girl cuz I was hungry no I’m tired of racist ass Italian staring at me how about that put that on your plate the Italian’s Always There Michael was fed up she was hungry and she didn’t just say excuse me can I help you she said hey yo can I help you no I didn’t [ __ ] no I didn’t the next stop on the food tour toini parmesan come closer that’s a little potato on the side hold it with a noodle uh hold it with the noodle eat it what you got I got I don’t know how to pronounce it it’s um something with [Music] sausage y yes it was to so we had to go for a round like I se God you know what I be saying the food out here it’s proof that there’s a God we didn’t already have it he’s so gross like he’s really gross at home he’ be licking it so it’s at least nice that he’s using bread but he’s really had bread at home i’ use it there too he’s really just a Savage no you wouldn’t you you lick the plate even when you have bread on your plate okay let’s ask the people is it or is it not satisfying to lick the plate clean okay so we just wrapped part one of the food tour and I just want to say it was sexual like the food was so good it was it was sexual it was getting hot and heavy it was it was so good bolognia um might be some of the best food I’ve ever had in the world yeah so we just we’re ready for round two we’re about to take a coffee break and then go on for round two round three round three more pasta more wine more deliciousness more more more that’s all we ever want in this life right but this is second and N okay so I and I are at this tiny little beer house top top top top but this dude’s playing like Tupac Nate Dog all this stuff so we go order our drinks and we’re like yeah we don’t know about West Coast music like we were from the West Coast kind of like we’re from Denver but we’ve been living in California blah blah blah he’s like oh yeah man like I love Nate Dog Nate Dog and I love like West CO and I used to bump my music but but the old dudes upstairs came and broke my balls are we getting blow is finished now I have to go to work and now he has to go to work but me we my PJs we ate a lot we hung out a lot and it was a good time go to bolognia and we got all the food suggestions for you so you don’t even have to worry just get B easy and to that’s it simple a simp you get it anywhere you can only get it in this region this only in this region only here nowhere else that’s what they’ll tell you at every restaurant mhm stay tuned for our next
