Alba is Stories’ signature modern Italian offering, named after a small town in Northern Italy’s Piedmont wine region, known for its white truffles. alba boasts a bright, light atmosphere, blending premium textural materials and décor for a contemporary aesthetic, across unique indoor and alfresco dining experiences. The open-plan kitchen, led by head chef Adam Szymankiewicz, presents diners with sophisticated Italian dishes, with a featured larder adding to the homely feeling so typically synonymous with Italian culture.
Stories’ restaurant with a view, KARLA, draws inspiration from the Noongar word for ‘fire’, creating a culinary haven, where modern Asian cuisine cooked over flames and coals takes centre stage. Headed up by Thai-born head chef, Ben Pienprasop – KARLA’s culinary team use only the freshest, locally sourced produce and native Australian ingredients, cooked to perfection over Asian charcoal grills and wood-fired ovens, adding a rich, charred essence to freshly crafted creations.
Stories’ multi-level casual bar and eatery, Ugly Baby bursts with flavoursome plates, vibrant cocktails and frenetic dining experiences. With dedicated dining on the first floor and a high-energy bar with casual eats below, Perth’s own head chef, Michael Antonievich and his team have crafted bangin’ Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dishes to enjoy either in-venue or as take-out.
The festivities don’t end early at Ugly Baby – the party keeps pumping with DJs spinning tunes ’til 2am on Friday and Saturday nights.
Stories Pourhouse features an impressive lineup of 20 taps along a 15m bar and a glass keg room, providing an exclusive view into the workings of an inner-city pub. With an industrial vibe, giant murals, and stage space showcasing live music performances by DJs and local bands every Friday + Saturday night, it exudes an inner-city brew-hall ambiance with an edge.
