My itinerary on Visit a city app –
This video marks the beginning of Italy Vlogs in #EuropeWithKhushi series.
When we couldn’t book our reservations for PISA, we booked our train Italia reservations to MILAN instead.
We took a train from Lausanne early morning at about 6.30 and reached Milan around noon. We chose to take the metro ticket which is valid in public bus, tram and metro stations for unlimited use for 90 minutes and costs just 2 Euros per head
We got down at station Duomo which was direct entry to about 8 city locations.
Places we saw-
Piazza del Duomo
Milan Cathedral
Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II
Royal Palace of Milan
Santa Maria Presso di San Satiro
San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore
Santa Maria delle Grazie
Teatro alla Scala
At the end we had lunch at a local pizzeria and headed back to Milan Central via metro rail with another ticket of 2 Euros. Straight to Rome. We reached Rome at around 9 PM same evening.
