Welcome to our Florence Vlog I’m going
to take you guys along with us I’ve been
dreaming of coming here I am so excited
and to be honest whenever we were
planning this trip I didn’t realize what
all was influence and what it had to
offer but as we were planning I realized
that this place is going to be magical
so we just arrived at our hotel and on
this trip we have a wine tour booked
we’re going to see the statue of David
we’re going to experience amazing food
and just bring you along for all of it
so we just came from chinu ter so if you
miss that Vlog I will put it up here in
a card and in the description box and
we’re heading to Rome next so be sure to

very very excited so let me give you a
room tour this is the door and then you
walk in and there’s a desk here and then
this is where we have our luggage and
stuff there’s Sam the window the bed
some more storage and then this bathroom
in here super nice shower it’s a little
tight and then the toilets can you guys
let me know what this is is this a Ural
but all of our hotels in Italy have had
those this hotel is really nice and it
was one of the most affordable ones and
it’s in a very central location probably
5 or 6 minute walk to everything that’s
really Central so I’ll definitely link
it down below and then the best part
truly is this look how beautiful and
then all the people down there opening
this shutter was like the best moment of
my life beautiful great find great find
very proud of you thank you we are ready
we are going to head out right now to go
see the city I think we chose our lunch
spot it is it’s 12:41 we are definitely
hungry so we’re going to go grab some
lunch and I think kind of see the main
plaza area and head out from there what
cracks me up is that you have no idea
like what’s in the cards do you no
you’re just here surprise yeah you’re
the planner I’m the planner and I’m
grateful and he is the um go with the
flow consumer the consumer all right
let’s go

I’ll put what I got on the screen I
can’t remember the name but the inside
is spinach and ricotta with some meat
sauce Sam got spaghetti Carona carbonara
are you excited yeah I’m really excited

okay just finished up lunch thoughts it
was really good I I mean this in like
the kindest way possible it tasted like
can ravioli which is like my absolute
favorite obviously like a better version
but it was really
so Props the chef boy Rd I had the
carbonara it was really good but I’ll be
honest like I’m used to carbonara in the
states like to have peas in it and I
kind of like that and this one didn’t so
I’m thinking the peas are not the the
standard I guess great first spot we
love it now we’re walking to go get
coffee we’re walking right through the
square seriously beautiful I I can’t
even take it all in properly

I truly cannot explain the beauty of
this church like look the greens the
pink hues
[Music]
so we are now on our way to go get
gelada we do have dinner reservations at
6 and this is really reminding me of
Soho in New York very similar Vibes all
the flags the

shopping apparently if it’s covered
that’s how you know it’s
[Music]
good so I got coffee and salted caramel
and then this fancy cone I don’t know
why I got the fancy cone it looks good h
what did you get pachio and like their
chocolate chip okay time to try it w
coffee’s good salted caramel’s good it’s
good mix I had to put my hair up cuz the
gelato is getting in my hair um but now
we’re going to walk towards the water
and go see the beautiful bridges and
just outside of this city it’s pretty
small City but like everywhere it’s like
6 minutes away which is kind of
convenient

we came back to the hotel for a few
minutes I’ve been actually was probably
more like an hour I’ve just been working
on my laptop Sam took a nap um but we
are in a rush now because it is 5:51 our
dinner reservation is at 6:00 p.m. it’s
7 minutes away so we’re not too bad on
time but we’re definitely going to be a
doing a brisk walk tonight we’re heading
to La Tratoria Zaza it is a very very
very famous restaurant here in Florence
I didn’t really give a proper OOTD today
but this dress that I’ve been wearing
all day is from Airy I love it it’s a
few years old I’ll try and find one
similar and I threw on this cardigan
just cuz it’s really cold in here it’s
still really warm outside but I might
get cold in the restaurant and this is
from H&M and then my little Satchel
thing is from Target and then my Burks
we are not hungry at all no but maybe we
will be in a second you know you never
know

this was so delicious but a little on
the rich sides this
steak oh my gosh the sauce this is the
green peppercorn befa truly the most
delicious thing this was very very good
so we’re walking the streets of Florence
feding and we don’t know what we’re
going to do but we’re going to do
something okay we went back to our hotel
room real quick put on some walking
shoes I put on a thicker sweater and we
got more Gelato at this point we should
have a gelato counter this is our second
today I think we have at least two day
we just couldn’t help it couldn’t help
ourselves it looked really good it did
we got cookies and

cream it’s so beautiful at night I can’t
get over it so he just gave me the
history of the all the bronzing work and
how they determined like who would be
the artist to do it pretty

cool good morning we just stopped and
got our coffee and now we are on our way
to our wine tour it is is early in the
morning to be doing a wine tour 100% our
choices were either 9:00 a.m. or like
2:30 and we didn’t really at least I
didn’t want to waste the end of the day
where we can be getting dinner and like
enjoy the sunset out of Winery I wanted
to like I don’t know do that midday yeah
this just something you’re supposed to
do I feel like you have to go so we’re
going to do it we’re going to have some
cheeses and Breads and stuff food and
wine it would be very interesting today
we taste many different wines

okay we are at the first Vineyard it is
so peaceful out here I can’t even
explain the birds chirping and they also
have a ton of olive trees to make olive
oil and it’s so cool I don’t know if
you’ve thought about this babe but like
even just like the biblical references
like it’s just truly stunningly
beautiful and I found a dog which I
literally started crying babe but she
was really sweet her name’s Molly I only
could have a few sips of wine cuz I
don’t often drink and the cheese was
very very good so now we’re just hanging
outside I think we’re going to go view
the gardens out here and head

out okay I forgot to mention that we had
a guy who’s a Somali in training at our
table and he’s one test away from
becoming a master somal this is
incredible and so he was telling us
everything it was amazing

so we just ended at the second Winery
and I got something not wine but
balsamic vinegar because a lot lot of
these places also produce balsamic
vinegar but I got a 12year ag balsamic
vinegar and I’m so excited funny fact
about me is I’ve always loved balsamic
vinegar I actually used to put it on my
pancakes when I was little it’s always
on my salads it’s always on cheeses that
I do like I just love balsamic vinegar
hey everyone you guys are used to Jaclyn
talking all the time we’re done with
that okay this is now my channel and we
are going to give a review of the wine
tour a
like the countryside of Tuscany is
beautiful I’m so glad we did that it was
so worth seeing not just like just to
see the countryside was beautiful the
bus ride was beautiful but also to learn
the history and just like how Wine Works
it makes me appreciate it a little bit
more it’s it’s very important and
integral to the fabric of Italy
especially Florence and they’re very
proud of it honest I would highly
recommend even if you’re not really into
wine like I’m not really into wine but
it was still really enjoyable to learn
about I’ll have the tour we did down low
10 out of 10

yeah we came back into took a little
afternoon Siesta you can probably tell I
am so tired I did not want to get up but
we knew we need to get out we’re in
Europe there’s no use of sleeping right
now so right now we’re heading out to do
some last few things in Florence it is
our last night here not our last day we
still have tomorrow so a few things on
our list one we wanted to go to vivoli
it is an alagado like ice cream shop
it’s very well known for their avag so
I’m really excited to try that out then
from there we’re going to walk to the
high can’t say in Italian it’s like the
Michelangelo plaza where you can
Overlook the City of Florence and we’re
heading there to see the sunset over the
city and I think it will be just
beautiful and then after that we have
dinner reservations at 9:00 p.m. we are
going to go to this restaurant that I’ve
heard a lot of great things about we’ll
go there for dinner tonight and bring
you guys along it’s 6:15 so we actually
probably should hurry up a little bit
but uh we’re a little sleepy well the
alagado place closed at 6:00 but we’ll
go tomorrow we will go tomorrow mark my
words mark them mark my words now we’re
just going to go find gelato and head to
the m

so if you guys have heard of Florence
you’ve probably also heard of this
sandwich shop we actually ate there in
New York City it might be different
Meats but they all no cuz they said it’s
from Italy anyway so I don’t feel like
I’m missing out I think it’s overhyped
it was good no I thought it was but I
would never stand in line like that

okay we made it up here the view is
stunning we picked up some dim suum
along the way it’s a little snack got
our Waters and we’re just going to hang
into the sunset

we got the beef wellington for two it
comes with potatoes some sauces
asparagus 2 seconds ago I dropped my
camera right on top of it so I have some
beef Bellington on my camera right

now good morning and our last day in
Florence we are walking right now to our
tour at the something Academia or
something like that it’s where the
statue of David is so we’re going to go
see that this morning we’ve had a slow
morning so I think we’re just going to
walk around and then after that we’ll
catch our train to Rome I’m sure we’ll
maybe lunch here we’ll see well we’re
going to walk around find our way to the
Statue of David

supposed to rain all day today and we
try to walk to H&M to buy a rain jacket
cuz it’s also supposed to rain every day
that we’re in Rome now um but they were
closed so we I bought this tell me
you’re a tourist without telling me
you’re a tourist so we bought skip the
line tickets and this is the line we’re
skipping the line

okay we just finished up at the Galleria
it was very cool the David it’s truly
amazing like you should see it I hate
art museums I’m just going to say it but
that is worth seeing for sure so now I
think we’re going to grab some food I
don’t think I can do any more pasta I
need a salad or something I need some
veggies I forgot to give a synopsis of
our dinner place last night it was very
very good we split the beef wellington
um but that place was spectacular they
have French so I would even recommend
going for a brunch it’s just a beautiful
beautiful restaurant honestly I’m
shocked that my jeans still fit like I’m
not even kidding but I guess we’re
walking a lot but I feel so bloated
truly from all of this carbs and stuff
but hey you’re only in Italy once um but
we’re going to find somewhere to eat and
then go grab our stuff and head to

Rome I got the Truffle ravioli same got
the pizza
and we’re going to share it we’re
sitting at this beautiful Square you can
see the
view that was the best pasta I’ve had on
this trip and we just like randomly kind
of walked in there so now we’re going to
get gelato our train leaves in an hour
or so so after gelato we’ll head to the
hotel grab our bags and head to Rome
we’re back at this gelato place this is
the best gelato we’ve had here by far

I got Cafe and salted caramel which is
just coffee and then salted caramel on
top and this is my favorite flavor
combination out of all the combinations
I’ve had they just go really well
together back to the hotel we go okay we
are here at the train station I’m using
my phone as my audio because it’s really
noisy in here so I thought I’d give my
final synopsis on Florence and what we
thought dos don’ts all the places we ate
what we’ recommend I feel like you can
do Florence in three days and I felt
like we saw everything that I wanted to
see that we researched if we had an
extra day I probably would have wanted
to go inside the Dome if you want to do
anything that is a museum that you need
tickets for I would definitely recommend
getting skip the line tickets which
essentially just means that you go with
a tour guide or sometimes you can just
buy tickets by themselves just that are
skip the line we used get your guide a
lot um or Trip Advisor I know I said
this earlier but I highly recommend
doing a wine tour even if you’re not
really much of a wine connoisseur or
anything like that it was fun to
experience that with other people you
definitely need to do the plaza of
Michelangelo whatever it’s called that
was so amazing it was so packed like so
packed but it was still worth going and
seeing we went right at desk and it was
just stunning we saw people bring up
food and drinks and like sit and have a
picnic which was really sweet what I
loved about Florence was it’s so
walkable everything is probably
Max a 15minute walk from where we stayed
at least but it even felt like
everywhere was 15 minutes away or less
than 15 minutes so it’s a very walkable
City just get some good walking shoes
and you’ll be good to go and what was
cool too was that it felt like a smaller
City in the sense that like I saw
multiple people that we had seen
throughout the days because I remembered
their dogs that’s so me and then I even
saw like someone that was on the wine
tour we ran into them while we were
going to get dinner like it does have
this like small town feel but yet had at
the same time it has all of the big city
Vibes so I’ve really loved Florence I
think it is a worthwhile stop so all the
food we had was actually very good we
didn’t have a bad oh H I will say the
pizza that we had at this famous pizza
place was actually terrible I would say
it was not good like afterwards you’re
so creepy afterwards we were like oh
maybe it wasn’t that bad and then we
thought about it we were like that was
really bad pizza and we were starving
overall a great stop and again I will
leave everything linked down below all
of the tours that we did and where we
stayed and everything like that thank
