is a relatively new style and it is
largely been isolated to Italy there
have been some craft reinterpretations
in the United States but I would still
say it is kind of on a back burner for
many many other beer styles that are
much more popular and much more
profitable in the craft beer scene the
Italian grapel is 100% exactly what it
sounds like it is an ale that is brood
utiliz izing Italian grape varietal it
can be so much more but it cannot be any
less now that description is rather
simple in theory but also incredibly
vague in concept it can be anything it
could be an IPA it could be a stout it
could be a sour beer anything as long as
it’s an ale and it’s got Italian grape
varietals in it
