Benromach Sassicaia is a peated Benromach finished in Italian red wine. The red wine isn’t overpowering and Benromach always deliver a good baseline.
Benromach Sassicaia is a part of the Benromach Wood Finish series. The Sassicaia finish adds a lot of spice and some sweetness to the Benromach whisky which itself is characterized be a good complexity and some heavy notes.
Benromach Sassicaia finish is more peated than your average Benromach, so if you are into peated whisky with added complexity this might be a whisky for you.
