I love seeing places with hobby workshop spaces. It surprises me that everyone doing real estate channels always suggests all extra spaces be converted to more living space. That would be the last thing on my mind.
It's wild to have those views, then placing your bathroom and stairs on the same side …madness.
I'd door off between the kitchen and livingroom, use it as a master suite, no huge need for the view here. The room above would be a living room with a view, the bathroom along the rear wall using the window for light and ventilation, leaving a guest room with a view too (of course with adjoining balcony).

That would be a great art studio. It has water….all it needs is to install a toilet and a septic tank.
I don't think they made enough of the views. I agree with a wrap around balcony but I would have that as a lounge (where the current double bed is) to take in the views – but also the window needs to be doubled in width to enjoy the views from the new 'lounge'. The kitchen sink had no tap or anything in the wall for the sink so it looks like that was just plonked there but had no water function. This house is a fantastic opportunity.
It definatly needs a large balcony. With more windows.

This is a gorgeous property. While I have lived in cities in my life I am a country girl.
Great place, love it! I think I would remove the roof from the outbuilding and put a huge deck with a pagoda on it, so everyone could have dinner al fresco while looking at the lake!

The upper floor transformed into a living room / bathroom / bedroom ( wider , side to side balcony , and two access doors ) , while downstairs opened up to kitchen / dinning and lounge and keep the bathroom ( renovate ). Front section reclaim into garage . The space between the house and garage ( called chicken coop with broke glass on green metal door ) widened and raised to the level of the house upper floor to give more space for the bathroom or possible walk in closet / second bedroom , lower level could be transformed into a walk in pantry . Outbuilding repaired / transformed into hobby shop . Possibilities are endless with a couple in mind . Proper electrical and heating / air conditioning a must ! Thanks for the good presentation .
