🟢 ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.

If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I’m a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

  1. Expect 70% of Filipinos to live like this after Bong Bong Marcos & USA EVIL EMPIRE uses Filipinos against China😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  2. I'm a black man who grew up poor. Didn't have a whole lot until late in my life. So watchin this channel n videos gave me an appreciation for different cultures n makes me more grateful n thankful n showed me that I had it better than I ever knew. Even thru the struggle…

  3. Expect more and more people to join the ranks of 'pag pag eaters' as more people lose their jobs due to business closure because of tax, wage, and rent increases.

  4. It was very heard to see this but I am really respect Philippine people but it's was my request to all the Philippine people to please don't waste the food and please donet food to need person who really wants food because good food is for every one right help needed people's for Food 👍

  5. Filipinos have a good reputation here in Canada. Hard working and always friendly. They are peaceful too and rarely cause any trouble. No shame in what these poor filipinos are doing to survive. I really hope the country can improve the living conditions of their poorest citizens. The filipino people really deserve better.

I've never heard anyone say a bad thing about filipinos in my life.

  6. I heard of this before in a documentary about a trash sorter I dont remember the name anymore. it was shocking the first time I heard about it but now its just sad that some people have to rely on this as their source of food. Their government really should be doing something about this.

  7. It's a crime against humanity not to help these poor people have proper food. If we would cut down on armement, every person in the world would eat filet mignon.

  8. I could not watch this any longer without a constant gag reflex.. I cant imagine what these people must be going through to resort to this, very sad..

  9. To all non Filipino viewers out here, I just want to make clear that this it NOT common practice in the Philippines but as you can see in the video, this “pag pag” food does exist in the area shown on the video and it is absolutely shocking that people living in so much poverty have to resort to this type of food just to survive. I’m Filipino by birth and I wasn’t aware of this until a few years ago when I saw a documentary video about this on YouTube. No one deserves to live like this but this is one of the many sad realities in Philippines. Anyone who is fortunate to be able to eat “normal” food should be grateful everyday. Count your blessings and be grateful everyday. 😢

  10. Pag Pag is one of those foods that's just utterly revolting to me, I understand its purpose and why, and of course I'm extremely lucky and thankful not to have to endure such a meal, but I still can't stomach the idea of it.

  11. After I watched this i will never complain about the situation in my country
I new that in some countries people are starving but I didn’t expect that
Prayers for all people in Happy land

  12. I'm sorry to all my shocked fellow westeners, but this is how it should be everywhere! It's not bad just because some snobs decided it should go to the trash. Especially for meat..an animal has lost it's life, has been killed for it so freaking don't waste it!!

  13. I am a Filipino but I haven't tried pagpag yet, I'm 'lil bit scared of that. But if there is no choice, I guess I'll try it too.

  14. I'm Filipino and even I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot stick. It's unfortunate that some people have only this as food but I'm glad that I'm fortunate enough to enjoy food before it goes into the trash.

  15. freaking love this show. Sonny is great for showing ANY food, regardless of it's origin. The fact this exists, shows the horrible nature of these cities. This is more than a food review show, it is a freaking documentary showing the shit of the world that is the fault of the governments that failed them.

  16. да ешь Санни , люди каждый день это кушают и не дохнут, да че говорить, я сам ем погпог, хорошее видео Sunny

  17. I'm no clinical psychologist, and don't have any degree in psychology… but my wife is and does… she's grossed out that you're promoting commercialized, placebo type, help… Please consider finding a different sponsor ASAP. Better Help is not a real option. Rather, it's best to promote the need to have someone go to a real therapist. You're an ethical man, and so I ask you try to find funding from someone who is also ethical. In a mental health perspective, Better help is like the Philippines eating discarded food.

  18. I remember when watching the original judge dread movie, there is a part there that says eat "recycled food"
