“Summer of Italy”, Barilla’s two month celebration of all things Italian, featured FIAT led scavenger hunts to some of NYC’s most iconic Italian destinations, a “Meal for a Meal” initiative that fed over 100,000 New Yorkers in need and a series of live cooking demos at “Eataly” taught by renowned Barilla Executive Chef, Lorenzo Boni. The festivities culminated with “Casa Barilla”, a four day Italian food and cultural immersion in the heart of Central Park, capped off by the sponsorship of a live performance by opera legend Andrea Bocelli.
