2019 was a Renaissance year during which my heart sang!
It sang during a goodbye dinner in the heavy humid Bolognese air, to a fresh pesto pasta lunch in Formia, to a wine and cheese picnic on the banks of the Seine, to baked cheese curds in Madison or leftover lentil soup in Minneapolis that felt like home and back to a bag lunch in the Atelier.
My heart sang during long walks in the colli bolognesi, hikes in the Alps or in the Pioneer Valley at sunrise.
It sang doing fun new things that made me look ridiculous like hip-hop class, or wearing cheetah print pants with my pink military pants accomplice or watching men pour out of the club and dive into the ocean after a long night dancing, now turned into morning in Rimini.
My heart quite literally sang at Fedez, Lo Stato Sociale, Mahmood, Liberato, Barrie and Angèle concerts.
And it sang when people opened up their arms from four days in London to less than 24 hours in NYC… and on many other occasions filled with supportive and vulnerable people who love with open arms. I wish you all well in 2020!
