Vaush is a based American leftist streamer. More specifically, Vaush is a Libertarian Socialist who advocates for Market Socialism. He is against authoritarianism and opposes people who praise dictators like Stalin and Mao, calling them Tankies. He’s also an advocate for LGBTQ+ and minority rights. I come from an Italian family and i agree with Vaush on this one. I like Italian food for being more mild, but my family is in complete denial that greek, spanksh, & Portuguese food are all more seasoned.

What you're missing: when the server is putting Parmesan on your food, you don't have to say "stop". Under a mountain of parm, Italian food is seasoned. :3

People need to realize that saying (for example) "on average, indian food is more seasoned than italian food" is NOT saying "italian food is unseasoned" or "italian food doesnt have enough seasoning" or "italian food isnt good" or even "indian food is better than/worse than italian food."
It's just saying that indian food typically has more seasoning on it than italian food does. That's IT.
Indian food is better than itallian food. Itallian food is great but a lot of it is way just way too rich without balancing flavors. Indian food has a ton of different flavors. Itallian food has butter, tomatoes, cheese, and oil, or some combination of them. If youre lucky theres some basil.

After the largest attack on Jews in my lifetime Vaush come out and says that Israel should not defend itself, and must take attack after attack after attack until the Palestinians wear themselves out. He would not say this to any other nation on this planet he only said to about the one full of Jews.

Last point is spot on. People don't like to process sentences and will jist turn any comparison into "better" and "worse" and then prolly get mad about the sentence they just created.

Just because Italian cuisine doesn't use as much seasoning as other cuisines doesn't mean it's bad, is what Vaush is saying.
As an American who has been to Italy. I'll say that their food doesn't match the American pallet. Not bad but nothing impressive.
Vaush seems to think that the only way food gets it’s flavor is by adding tons of dried spices. He doesn’t seem to realize that fresh ingredients have their own flavor profiles and sometimes only one or two spices are enough to complement those natural flavors

A little goes a very long way, depending in what you are making.

the only thing he got right about Italian cuisine is that it’s on the heavy side, & even then pizza (which he also disparages), Stromboli’s/calzones, mozzarella sticks & fried calamari aren’t quite as filling
the carb-heavy pastas & heartburn/acid reflux- inducing marinara sauce can overwhelm if consumed more than occasionally, but I think he’s really sleeping on their use of garlic, which is a top-tier flavor
(on that note, comparing Italian with god-tier international cuisine is just cheating IMO)
