Spoiler alert: Cats are not as good at catching rats as one might think they are.
The popular notion of cats as fabulous ratcatchers falls apart in a study at a trash collection site in Brooklyn. Cats prefer little, mouse-sized prey, and video shows the supposed great hunters mostly ignoring big rats, occasionally giving half-hearted chase, and on rare occasions, actually catching a rat.

I had adopted a kitten that wasn't neutered and became a street cat… I imagine his life being a gangsta like this.. he lived a happy 7 year life and left behind a great generation

I love my cat and I loved my dog too, she would ALWAYS protect us from wood rats. My cat is an expert mouse hunter.

Am I the only one that noticed all the spirit orbs flying in the air in this video. Those orbs are all the spirits of people that have died a terrible death in that NY City location where this video was filmed. It would be interesting to know if this video was filmed in the area near the 911 attack or maybe the NY subway system.
