What’s the latest gastronomic gimmick to take over Las Vegas it’s the food Hall what exactly are they how many do we have where can you find them and what should you order we’re going to 10 count them 10 food hauls and you’re coming with us so get ready because this adventure starts right Now We’re starting off in the southwest valy in the neighborhood of the new Durango Resort our first foodie destination just happens to be directly across the street my friends you are looking at the newest Concept in modern living in Las Vegas a 40 acre mixed use development called uncommons in their own words the

Intersection of life work and community and 350 units already nearing 90% capacity if we have our Direction straight this handy free garage will land us right where we want to be the sunry food Hall check this out now that’s a stairwell you may recognize the distinctive style of pretty done an

Abstract freestyle pop art brand with installations in downtown Las Vegas and in case you wondered the full thought is nothing’s ever done it’s pretty done from up here you get a bird’s eyee view of the sunry food Hall where we’ll be heading for lunch very shortly we stepped outside to take a

Look around uncommons for just a minute it’s set up like a campus where you can live die shop work and enjoy Leisure at the same Time there’s a huge statement mural featuring pretty dun’s unique style this time in pleasing pastels uncommon indeed not your typical Suburban subdivision is it and centrally located to it all the sunry food Hall also Worth to mention is the Gathering Spot at uncommons called the quad it’s bordered by the food Hall and

Earth Cafe and hosts public events like poetry sessions and farmers markets all right it’s way past lunchtime we’re intrigued by the signage so let’s go find some grub we are at the Sury at a place called The uncommons there’s all kinds of stuff going on around here this is a

Food court but not a food court that you would recognize like from back home when you go to your Mall this is a place where you go and look around there’s all kinds of fancy little restaurants and then you come back to your table and you

Order on your phone and uh uh there’s a a waiter that you have quote waiter uh and then he will go and get your food for you when it’s done and bring it to your table I don’t understand this my friends I honestly I’ll tell you I I

Just I don’t understand it it seems like we’re we’re trading good stuff that we normally do interacting with people and stuff like that to be doing everything on our phone now but we’ll see what happens uh the food’s kind of expensive they’re going to bring it over and uh

We’ll check it out it’s very complicated I’m not one of those old floody duddies but it’s really complicated and timec consuming and we both just said why can’t we just have a server there I said it stepping into the food Hall the sweets are on the left donuts and ice cream On the far end is what appears to be the communal kitchen preparing whatever you order in a spotless marble and stainless steel work area in fact if you like watching the chefs at work you can pull up a seat at the counter or head into the main dining

Room the sunry open last June a massive 18,000 ft space with an industrial Vibe and exposed 40t ceiling we just have to say what struck us as we walked through was the variety of decor and seating options it’s really an Eclectic mix right here thumbs up to live music on weekend

Afternoons as well Joseph Soul’s style was perfect for the room all right I ordered the sliders you get two sliders and crinkle cut fries and this is called pickle ketchup so let me just take a bite of this this one right here and just tell you what it what it’s like it looks

Delicious oh it has mustard on it has little onion crunchy onion things and bacon and I’ll tell you what it’s delicious it’s really delicious wow I’m going to try a fry it seems like every time I’m trying fries from these video I’m shoving them into

My my m MTH like i’ I I’ve never eaten before this looks nice it has like creaa sauce on It that’s a good fry that is definitely a good fry I’m going to enjoy this not what I expected it’s really nice so folks you know chicken tenders are kind of a popular thing at these food halls and I’ve never gotten them before so these look really really good

And it looks like I actually have Cola on the sandwich which means a big old mess I’m having a bite interesting seasoning really good not hot I didn’t get the hot option it’s more Savory like youd put on roast turkey at Thanksgiving that’s kind of the uh herbs that are on here very

Moist I really like the breading it is really good and you got to pick a side I went with the coela because Dale got fries um I could have gotten fries as well but what’s the sauce uh you know what I don’t know what it is let me just have a

Bite it’s like a remad sauce um not real hot it’s got a little bite to it I might actually dip some of this in there cuz that’s really good I asked for it on the side not sure if I would like it but I do this is really tasty really tasty and different Yeah Food Hall frenzy continues across the street at the Durango the resort opened in December of last year and debuted Their eer hardout Food Hall at 25,000 ft it’s even bigger than the sunry it features 11 food venues new offerings from local establishments and famous names from

Further a field trust me when I say this place is mobbed during the dinner hour we still have yet to try any of these but I’ll tell you what they look Fantastic coming in at number three this one is so fresh the paint isn’t even dry yet it’s at the Rio which is undergoing a massive overhaul thanks to new Ownership from the back parking lot we can’t help but notice all the pickups and piles of construction materials looks like the pool deck is on the schedule right now in fact we caught a view from the inside and sure enough it’s curing as we speak replacing the Rio’s famous

Carnival Buffet is the canteen Food Hall opened earlier this year real Philly cheese steaks chicken tenders from the black Tac folks burritos burgers and a local Ramen joint hand rolls Alka bar at the cosmo and did somebody say cheese steak Tony luks is the winner for lunch

Today just look at that paper thin fresh beef and all these Awards and testimonials founded in South Philly back in 1992 Tony luks does one thing and does it really well cheese steaks on Fresh hogy rolls Francisco has hours working right now now hello my friends from the canteen

Food Hall inside the Rio I can’t believe I was just here what a few months ago before it changed hands and this food hul is up already and operating for business it’s lunchtime on a Friday they’re doing a really good business in here and in fact the whole entire Rio is

Doing well lots of people in here lots of renovation going on so as I looked at my choices here in the canteen it became very clear I had to relive an old memory for my old Hometown Cleveland Ohio I used to love love love Mr Hero that was

The first Philly cheese steak I ever had in my life and this is an authentic real Billy cheesecake let me see if I can show that to you wow this Tony luks has accolades Galore I can’t wait to look up some history on the place meanwhile I am

Hungry been running around all morning and I can’t wait to dig into this so many flavors going on there I literally just had to absorb this is their Italian cheese steak so it’s got a um spinach believe it or not some uh sharp provolone some onions I watched it being made oh my

Gosh I can’t even tell you the flavors sorry I have to have another bite this is incredibly incredibly good wow m m I’ve had some sandwiches in my life that is so good the bread is so fresh they probably made it this morning the olive oil oh I can’t even

Tell you how good that sandwich is so it came with a kind of a bundle of a a little bag of chips and a coke um we’ll put the price up worth every penny I think I’m going to take that second half home to Dale because

This is so so good I love this Number four and we can’t miss this one because it’s been a favorite of ours since it opened at Christmas 2018 Italy at Park MGM there’s so much going on in here we never need an excuse to come in and Film It Again whether you enter from the street side or the casino You’ll love this Italian food hul and its CCA Del marado concept there are six different fresh counters inspired by the open markets of Italy where you can order and eat in or buy groceries to prepare at home watching the Craftsman at work making bread and mozzarella is a cool side

Benefit as enticing as the food counters is the market stocked with the highest quality products and ingredients from Italy and the United States the same ingredients the Italy chefs use and drink Brands imported from the old Country while you’re here how can you resist filling up a bag with authentic Beni chocolates to take Home Italy also has a sitdown restaurant featuring neapolitan pizza made in Golden ovens and perfectly prepared alente pasta dishes last but not least the classy Grand Cafe Milano is a gorgeous spot for a glass of Italian Vino not going to lie we’ve enjoyed a few of those over the Years Food Hall number five is a December 2022 Edition to the beautiful ARA taking over the spot that was once the buffet proper eats was the fourth Food Hall to open on the strip it’s a huge 24,000 ft space that features eight eateries gathered from the US and

Europe a popular bar and plenty of seating not too long ago Paula and I sampled soulbird and Lola Burgers two big thumbs up on those sandwiches oh the crunch you should hear the crunch all right holy mackerel all right you have to show them how big that chicken breast is look how

Big that chicken breast is my gosh it’s an inch thick first of all let me get a napkin first let me say that barbecue sauce absolutely has to be on there it’s unbelievable but that chicken it is it’s fried chicken but it’s moist it’s wet it’s absolutely

Unbelievable all right so my turn I am going to tear the wrapper on this double SN [Laughter] Burger so I don’t even know what all the stuff is on it we’ll put that down below because I’m just going to take a big old bet oh my gosh wow so they’re thin hand form

Patties decious what do you think it’s I I like I like this idea it’s really sort of kind of cool because you can order it two different places and they all come at the same time which is really awesome you know I think block 16 of the cosmo

Was the very first one that kind of had this Concept the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is home to what is arguably the original Food Hall in Las Vegas The Culinary destination called block 16 this Urban Food Hall on the second floor of Cosmo is a curated selection of food counters with world renowned chefs right behind them block 16 is always

Packed no matter when we pck pass by here’s a fun fact takaba translates in Japanese to Old gambling place and it was in fact inspired by an ancient gambling Destination lucky number seven in our food Hall frenzy is Caesar’s Palace and their Casino level Forum Food Hall Caesars tells us it’s easy and affordable to feed the whole family and and get them exactly what they’re craving it’s just before 11:00 a.m. so Starbucks and Bobby Fay’s breakfast

Sandwiches are getting all the business but not to worry other venues like def faras are prepping for the lunch crowd included as part of the Forum Food Hall is the stadia bar a spot where we’ve stopped in for an adult beverage now and then plus it’s all just steps away from

The Forum Shop’s Entrance across the Boulevard number eight can be found inside Hara The Fulton Street Food Hall this 24-hour spot was added during the 2020 Renovations and features dine in or to go options we were there during our Burger paloa video to sample this oh my goodness it’s fantastic looking and big take a

Bite I ordered it medium oh that’s really good flavor salty it’s either the burger or the cheese salty I don’t know about you but I love a salty Burger plus it’s got the bacon all right that is really really a good burger Plus Check out these amazing

Hand cut fries I love handcut fries like this I got the classic burger it’s cooked medium it’s absolutely loaded with stuff and I got extra pickles on it I don’t like I don’t like the sauce but I do like I do like the pickles I got

The cheese and everything else I had to cut it in half cuz I couldn’t pick it up and when I did it whole thing fell apart in my hand all right here we go oh wow wow that is a good burger we can’t vouch for any of the other

Eateries in here but Bobby’s Burgers ended up being my favorite of all the burgers we tried in that Video coming in at number nine is Resorts World and their renowned famous food Street Eats this Marketplace offers food stalls from celebrated chefs and authentic Cuisines from across the world all in one place 16 of them to choose from last year we celebrated Resorts World second anniversary by sampling two of them Blood

Brothers and kuraa Pa you know got the beautiful uh meat here with the sauce on it let me give it a shot oh that’s spicy sauce that is that is some spicy sauce grab your Sprite oh I’m not kidding you that is some spicy sauce I’ll tell you

What the meat is well done very well cooked nice pulled apart Great texture sometimes you get that pulled pork stuff that’s a little bit mushy this is very uh full I mean you know sort of where you can actually put it in your mouth when you think you’re getting something

To eat I give this a big thumbs up I really like it a lot we’re going to come back and tell you what Paula got here in just a second and these are kind of nice big but thinly sliced pieces of beef so let me cut a piece of that wow you know

What sometimes in stir fries it’s not very tender so far so good let me try This very tender gingery in the best way M I love m a bowl I I love to order bowls when I go out to dinner let me pick up some of these vegetables and rice we’ve got some onions and some carrots take a big bite of

Those oh I’m going to dig in big thumbs up on this Our last stop number 10 on the Food Hall frenzy list is just a couple months old and we find it here at the fountain blue on the second level above the main casino is the prominade a brightly lit eye pleasing and spacious food haul even before we look at the dining

Options we just have to appreciate the gorgeous ceiling the marble tabletops and all the life plants giving it a garden vibe there are seven walk up eateries in here carefully curated by the fountain blue and all of them new to Las Vegas since it’s currently 9:15 a.m. I’m

Going to go for break and snag one of those delectable looking pastries in the display Case got myself a big cup of English breakfast tea and dug in with my Classy Plastic knife not an easy feet the pastry was incredibly light flaky in layers the amount of cinnamon just right and the icing gooey and warm big big thumbs up on the cinnamon roll and the

Room our visit to the Fountain Blues Food Hall happened to be on Monday of this week when ABC’s morning show Live with Kelly and Mark became the first live TV taping to happen in the brand new blue Live Theater the venue seats 3,800 people and judging by these endless lines snaking

All through the second floor of the resort every seat is going to be filled our seats were way up on the fourth level of the theater luckily it was the first row but nowhere close enough to grab any of the Kelly and Mark freebies being thrown out and here are

The stars of the show Kelly Rippa and her husband Mark Consuelos the episode aired on Tuesday February 27th what a great time my friends I have to say Kelly and Mark reminded me of us because they flubbed a couple times they had to do some retakes they ended up laughing and

Actually he got a little they got a little heated about something that you know are you’re supposed to have osmosis we don’t get that way oh no never just every day it was funny though hey all those food hauls they were really something but I’ll tell you what there’s

A couple that we missed and of course we couldn’t get them all in but there’s one down at the Fremont right there is we haven’t seen that one yet and the Miracle Mile Inside Planet Hollywood is building one to open later this year so we will have an even dozen at that point

  1. Wonderful tour & always so fun. Don’t laugh, but I eat standing up in Vegas, so I can gamble longer. Coming from a non gambling state, I have to grab all the snack food I can👍🤠. Are you watching the CNN Vegas series tonight at 7pm, your time. 👍😎

  2. Dale ate the bun 👍. I remember he eats the meat and no bun. Always great to see you. I’m going to see Jay White next Friday at Southpoint casino. I can’t wait👍😍.

  3. In our opinion, these Vegas developers are going the wrong way. We have no desire to fly across country at great expense to eat in a food court. Every mall in the country has these gussied-up self service cafeterias. Horrible.
This isn't good customer service, it's just cheaper for them to run. It isn't fun, it isn't special, and we hate it.

  4. You guys are getting so good at this. The editing is tight, the reviews full but not over worded, the footage is fantastic, Bravo.

  5. Looks like good food, but expensive. Not liking all the plastic forks, at least the first place had metal utensils and real glasses.

  6. The food hall concept is fine but I still prefer the interaction with a waiter or waitress at a traditional sit down restaurant

  7. Great video on food halls! Glad to see the Kelly and Mark show at the FONTAINBLEAU . The choices you made to eat were very helpful! So Paula is from Cleveland. That cheesesteak is a must!

  8. I love you both but HATE the food halls. I love cozy and cozy it is NOT. Fancy and more expensive food courts than at the malls
Haven’t been back to the Rio since we got Food poisoning that almost killed the family
I would have gained 5 pounds eating that garbage. Sorry to be such a Debbie Downer 😔 God bless you both for Vegas of the past. Not a fan of the ‘new Vegas’

  9. Your content and editing is better than many on TV. I watch a few vloggers but you are the only one I will watch each time. I also love Paula's cooking episodes. I hate to cook but she makes some of the recipes look doable even for someone like me!

  10. i forgot i subscribed to this channel. Its like visiting an old friend. Ill never get to visit these places, but i am glad you guys did

  11. Always love watching your videos ❤
However, just can't believe the absurdly high price of the sub, chips, and a coke…nearly $30!?
Something like that was like 5 or 6 bucks not that long ago. Everything is getting ridiculously expensive, Vegas or not!

  12. I’m not a fan of most of these food halls, primarily because the menus tend to be very limited, especially at Aria and Resorts World. The Durango casino appears to have the best food hall, good variety and larger menus.

Instead, I visit the few cafe/coffee shops left on the Strip. Sadelle’s, Primrose, America Cafe, Mon Ami Gabi and Cafe Hollywood are a much more enjoyable experience.

  13. I appreciate all the TLC you two put into each video. I’ve been a regular on your channel for 3 years and you are part of my life 😊 I’m sorry some people are so nasty and hateful. It’s a reflection of how they feel about their own lives and has nothing to do with you, but I’m sure it still hurts 😢 Please know most of us love you and a big chunk of our lives would be missing if you quit YouTube. ❤

  14. wow, that was a lot of work to go to each of those. it was so enjoyable watching. we've been to the food hall at the freemont in downtown. very small but i love steak n shake.

  15. that was alot of info for one video .Glad you picked a favorite burger place to go to.GREAT job !!!!!!!!

  16. I'm a typical ball cap wearing dude but Dale I gotta say, you make me want to start rocking cowboy hats. It's classy and looks good. And it's acceptable to keep on inside at a fancy place with a suit or collard shirt on.

  17. Paula & Dale, I completely agree with you about the phone ordering thing, especially when dining in like that. I work in IT and I'm for tech advances, but I'm also traditional and like things simple. I had a similar situation recently at Wal Mart. I had to buy a hardware part for my front door and it was on sale at Wal Mart but only thru online purchase and in store pick up. Okay no big deal. Purchased the item online thru their website. Next day drove to the location to pick up. Clicked on the "I have arrived" link on the order email and they wanted me to download the Wal Mart app. I'm not downloading your stupid app just to pick up something I paid for! So you guys are not alone in the feeling. We have become too app dependent.

  18. I am just like you Dale and Paula, I need/want a paper menu in my hands. It annoys me having to get on my phone to look at a menu – being in my mid 40's, I have an older phone (10 or so years old) and it does not have a QR Code reader, it's slow to bring up website no matter which one it is, etc. Thanks for another great video! Keep up the great work as always! 🙂

  19. Hate food halls with the same generic food venders from somewhere else …soon every food hall will be the same …why travel when you just get a carbon copy of a place back home…much prefer little mum and pop cafes…thanks for your video❤

  20. We tried Eataly last year and it was amazing. It took us ages to decide what to have because there was so much choice.
