ITALY UNFILTERED! A joyous day in Naples – my Italian adventure – Day 3

Hello and welcome back to my channel I am still in Italy and thank you if you’re joining me on this day three in neple and I am actually just going to take around take you around with me because we are going for a walk around

Of the city for all day so we’re going to stop for some lunch but before that we’re going to walk around some fish shops vegetable shops I love that they are selling these things loose like in India not much plastic involved and there are many many squares in this city

Uh I’ve been told there are thousand churches in the city alone big pain but he has a c on very young but before we do anything obviously going to stop for some food along the way and the first stop is a SPI um shop uh this is not fresh rot but

It’s just filled with Nutella and and it actually was pretty delicious with some coffee there are so many little Quarters here in nepi and that is what I love uh you can hear our lovely guy Donatella in the background telling us about a few things one of these churches uh we

Stopped actually at uh I think five to six churches and they were all so beautiful intricate work inside the paintings on the ceilings the absolute Beauty uh of it Majestic absolutely incredible all of them were so stunning you could actually sit there and spend hours just looking

Around because there was so much to look so much to take in um stunning this one is means that under this church there is antique Roman Market 2,500 years ago over there is Napoli subterania 2 hour of going around in the dark and time7 all around in the time of bombing in the

War in the time of the tour of 2 hours two hours you go down and this next street we went to is apparently quite a popular Street where you get all sorts of stuff for Nativity so so during Christmas it’s packed and you can’t even move around here uh right

Now there are lots of teenagers about these are school trips because apparently it’s spring break here in Italy so lots of people come from around Italy for these trips these are horns which they consider quite lucky they look like chilies no apparently not but you don’t actually ever buy

These for yourself you always buy these horns for someone else as a gift um so yeah that was quite interesting and these little things are for nativities with fruits veg lentil and actually they were so realistic very very well made it it was quite a a fun Street to walk

Around so how many churches are there thousand, in Old napl 250 in the Historical Center come and see wow wow look the ceiling come and look the ceiling this completely they make restoration this is the Church of S Protection so if you by now I’m going inside see they come come they restore everything wow and then this is and protection of the thr oh found these very fun looking earrings everything from pizza burger knives to even a bag of crisps um quite a nice gift actually

Did to rebuild completely the church and this is the Church of Santa and then we are going inside to the J to see the bar this one is goic completely goic just so different to the other churches because it was re after the fire block by block by general

Public you with the stor made yes look look the stores yes that I was telling you that they did it to have the good inside and the bad now they something wrong happened because they had a disaster these Stones the napolitan people long CH wow so this this is a popular street

That uh was built in 1500s by the Spanish who were here for sometime and so you’ve got some very old buildings and then some very new ones and pishka so these are kind of Spanish style qus made those many hundred years ago um and now they have got lots of lovely restaurants

And okay this one this road go up you keep going in the other side devid na in two parts on the top there is the castle selo and the cha uh the white one in the back is the CER and in front the ch is that and fruit also this one but one

Is like little waves and this one is plain the next St was for Cafe alaala which uh I had no idea what it was and I was recommended to try this so This basically it’s a very creamy very sweet uh coffee and it has got a hazelnut

Paste in it and it was I absolutely loved it loved it 26 very beautiful one you know it is beautiful and all the shops are shops next stop was uh for a bit of lunch uh we stopped right in the middle of the center and this place had this

Beautiful floor um which was very old so they preserved it with a piece of glass on top and we had some delicious fish and uh yeah very very fresh local fish which they prepared quite skillfully as you can see if I was to do that it would take me

A little bit of time to be honest uh but yeah it’s quite uh fun to watch them um kind of prepare it and serve it so beautifully obviously I tried the desserts every single place we stopped uh you know for research purposes obviously but after our lunch we were back out uh

For uh more walking around the city um just yeah just taking it all in because I think U for me I find that walking around is one of the best ways to view a city kind of get to get the whole atmosphere Theus in the back and the castle in the front

Beautiful and is that Capri CA there is an Island Capri and sento nice oh that color oh beautiful the RO this is a playy ship one of the biggest PS in uh Europe uh second largest in Italy after the one in Rome and this is the Royal

Palace so this is a massive Square which apparently gets very busy during summer this called Prest okay so that’s the offro which is under ration and that’s the Galleria which is beautiful and it’s surrounded by some very old building so it’s kind of like an antiquey

Square the last stop of the day was obviously dinner this place is run by an amazingly talented uh female chef there was po and bread sticks to start with some lovely uh squash arini as well and the whole meal was delicious not the best we had on our trip but still an amazing

Meal is bread Nory butter and anes and that is vegetarian and I will move to you of them to show that under there is this bed we call it bed when you put like of and those are meatballs yes meatballs that’s the gr mix fish with salad and that is

Mushroom only this in the of me wow amazing and this is what I’m eating I’m eating fish and chips so that’s I’m guessing a potato and that’s fish and that is vegetables with anies olives and yeah fa and that is AE jokes with black olives you feel me not

Only now just watch the chef plate up the desserts uh which were delicious this was a chocolate mousse and we had some uh other bits to try which were like a white chocolate mousse with ice cream and caramel sauce and this was a lovely almond Dart um and that really

Was the end of the that’s a wrap for day three I have got two last two days left here and they are the most exciting because we are flying to Sicily tomorrow morning and have some amazing things planned so stay tuned join me tomorrow till then bye for now
