I don’t want to tell you this is going to ruffle some feathers the number one don’t do it worst nope don’t do it restaurant and Disney World hey everybody Dana lesle back for another video sorry in advance we are here to rate we’ve already raided we are here to list the worst restaurants at Walt Disney World this is our opinion oh I can already feel the comments All That to be said let’s just get into it first

Off um we want to hit a couple of pieces of information so summer housee on the lake ranked fairly low for us however we don’t think that that’s where it deserves to stay we ate there what a week if that I think it was like 5 days

After the open which wasn’t really fair to I mean I think it’s important because you you have to prepare for an opening but then like it’s just like you know any sort of plan falls apart as soon as the first operation happens and yeah it’s I I I think I think it

Deserves um a uh a second chance and I know you’re going to say that our number one deserves a second chance and all of that but anyway like I think it I think this one definitely deserves a second chance because like it was gorgeous in there and the drink program menu looked

Phenomenal my drink yours was good not great good but my drink especially was just gross and it wasn’t done properly at all and so I think they could fix that really easily the uh but everything is beautiful and then it just so happened that the one table that they

Set us at was in probably the worst location for a table in the restaurant right next to a server station and like you physically your chair was getting bumped by servers coming in there so so how do you like you can’t rate that good cuz it wasn’t but at the same time like

You go to a restaurant you you can feel like this has potential to do something and be something and we know people have been since we’ve been and they’ve loved it so well and the food was delicious but it was just cold so you know I mean

Like it’s just things like that they definitely could have it just wouldn’t take much to like fix it and I really think a lot of it was like opening week nerves or whatever you want to call it so uh part of this part of us moving forward and doing Quick Service and

Universal and and like brunches and things like that part of that like we’re going to have a couple Redemption stories yeah we are going to try our number one which is the worst restaurant Disney property we’re going to try it again and um that is that’s my

Commitment we’re going to try it again at some point and re RW it and we’ll see where it lands then open minds always open minds any summerhouse based on the rating should have made the worst 10 but we don’t believe it belongs there so in fact where our number 10 is there was

Probably like I don’t know seven or eight restaurants that were hovering right in there and again depending on the day like one could replace the other one of which was taponit which we felt didn’t deserve to be on the lowest ranked list like we would much rather

Eat at tanito again as opposed to these other t speaking of let’s just get started number 10 which we’re going backwards here so number 10 is the 10th 10th least worst restaurant on the list number 10 of that bottom 10 hello sister baby is STK yeah and you know this one I

Actually was surprised that it didn’t rank lower but um we were pleasantly surprised about it uh when we went because when we went went it was happy hour and on top of it being happy hour um it was also the day before Veterans Day so they were doing like a 50% off

For veterans discount if we did not have those two discounts this would have ranked much much lower there are restaurants that if the price was cut in half they would rank higher because the value just isn’t there this is one of those so it is a little bit strange for

A high-end Steakhouse like it’s like super loud music in there I mean to the point where it’s like hard to converse inside but the happy hour menu is actually more reasonably priced it is a discount off of the main menu so it brings it down like from the stratosphere into like a reasonably

Priced Steakhouse I would appreciate maybe not the volume of of Music in there and it wasn’t even as bad as I think it could have been yeah whenever we went so it was like it was fine it was it wasn’t it wasn’t terrible anyway

All that to say that is our number 10 go during happy hour go during happy hour so SDK we actually scored a 3.25 out of five our number nine scored a 3.125 and it’s Turf Club over at Saratoga Springs Resort right across from Disney Springs which you

Know this was it was just it was fine and it’s one that I think if I was staying at Saratoga and I wanted to go someplace to eat maybe but then I could also just go right across the way and get all of these amazing restaurants over at Disney

Springs I think it’s just unfortunate where it’s located if it was like at your local Hilton or holiday in or it then it would be fantastic you know what I mean I do but that sounds so bad okay I I agree with you like Saratoga Springs is definitely within

Walking distance or a boat ride just right across the lake over to Disney Springs it has all the these amazing restaurants but even if you’re at Saratoga spring if you want a nice meal you’re just going to walk around to Disney Springs which a bunch of them

Blow this thing out of the water the only thing like the only people I actually saw eating there were like people that might come off the golf course at the time and just like get a drink and maybe something quick and then go back to the room and shower like the

Food wasn’t outstanding it was fine it belongs in your local holiday in I just think they need a a a a refresh a revamp a a a spruce up of the menu uh probably a little bit of refurb in there and um it’s just a pretty tired restaurant yes

Number Eight coming in at 3.125 as well is Todd english’s blo this is over at Swan dolphin swen one of those I can’t ever remember which ones are at which this one was your classic so we’ve had some decent meals over at swen uh Swan and Dolphin we can never remember which

Which restaurant is in which one we’ve been over there so many times but this isn’t one of them and um you know it’s it’s not something I would go my out of my way for if I was at a conference at the swallen and they had an opening and

I didn’t have you know a ticket to go into Epcot or the knowledge to make a better dining reservation around the corner like I I I it would be an okay meal but you compare it to all the other restaurants at Walt Disney World and it just doesn’t stack up you know it’s

Funny I feel like this might quite possibly be the least memorable meal that we’ve had in all of the 90 some restaurants that we’ve eatting that because I’m sitting here going which restaurant is this like I know I ate there I do remember that you ordered a stranger things themed drink which came

Out in a and he took it away from me not the drink it came out in this display lunch box like themed to stranger things and you’re like oh that’s pretty and he’s like can you please take your drink out I need the lunch box you’re like

What that’s right you shouldn’t go here and they were actively moving like tables in and out of the restaurants while we were sitting there it’s all coming back to me now just this was for like our anniversary or something too like we thought it was kind of going to

Be elevated was there an anniversary it was something I don’t know anyway it was not a a it wasn’t horrid none of these this one wasn’t horrid it just it wasn’t pleasant either um any Who coming in at number seven I actually thought this would rank lower um cuz in my mind I’m

Like this place is awful um is Rainforest Cafe we actually r at 3.0 I honestly like for what it is like we and we talked about this during the review and I know a lot of you out there really love it really love Rainforest Cafe and

It’s just not our cup of tea I mean we took the boys when they were younger too we’ve been in rainforest cafes you know at other places cuz this is a chain it’s actually worldwide um and we’ve been at other places and it’s fine at a shopping mall

In the middle of Texas that’s great which incidentally we’ve been to like in Houston to the Rainforest Cafe in a shopping mall but it is just not um it doesn’t like it’s got theming for sure it has theming but you compare that to a lot of restaurants at Disney where you

Can meet characters and all this stuff um the food is more like Applebee’s quality food the drink program is definitely like Applebee’s quality drink program worse yeah but all that to say I mean if your kids like animals and they want to be kind of entertained during

Dinner the food is just average I mean it’s fine so I mean it it yeah it fits the bill I mean I like Apple bees and the rainstorm is cool like thunderstorm kind of fun so number six coming in at 3.0 is coral reef over in the Seas area

At Epcot so this one I really expected to love more um did you well I’ve you know I heard such mixed reviews and there were people that just like really liked this place and it’s always so expensive for all of the dining package things for Epcot so I felt like it

Should be worth that um abs absolutely it’s not worth the money for the dining package just let’s get that out of the way right now the theming in there or like the the view of the aquarium is it’s redeeming quality like that is very cool I could sit there and watch the

Fish for hours I mean it’s just it’s really quite beautiful in there cuz it’s so big and like it’s very a inspiring everything else was just average yeah drinks average food average um actually a buddy of mine like he raved about uh the bass some sort of

Fish dish there and I just I wasn’t blown away at all and it’s it like yes the view into the aquarium is phenomenal but the restaurant itself the finishes the carpet the banettes it’s very very tired it needs a refresh uh keep the view refresh the soft goods and I think

Maybe maybe a little bit of a a menu tweak and it could be a it could be a great restaurant and I think this is just forgot about like I don’t I don’t I don’t know like maybe they’re just selling enough to sustain and Epcot has enough money going out other places that

Number five at 3.0 as well um so like this one coral reef and um rainforce Cafe could all you could like you know I I don’t know so depending on the day I’m not even sure which one I like better maybe Rainforest Cafe I mean we ranked

It higher so yeah um but anyway Paradiso 37 so the drinks are a little bit gimmicky you know they got the big yeah whatever souvenir mug things with the Fruit Juicy drinks and everything so that’s you know the drink program could use a little bit of work but it’s kind

Of in line with the theming and and I like the indoor seating the outdoor seating they’ve got like an indoor outdoor bar area I love the location in Disney Springs it’s been here for quite some time so it is a little bit on the Aging side as far as like the new fresh

Restaurants coming in around their like summer house right down the way um but the food is actually pretty decent and the menu is just like it’s you know it’s one of those places that they have a little bit of everything so um you know I always feel like whenever you have a

Little bit of everything you don’t do anything just really well right like you do everything just fine so um that’s kind of how I feel about this location however if you are trying to please a lot of different palettes particularly ones that are picky this would be a

Great place to go coming in at 2.75 our number four spot goes to Terina crafted over at Disney Springs now I think we we had a very unique experience at Terina crafted this is a teste this is a Test you guys like any parmesan cheese or pepper to go with your today uh yes please that be great um maybe this is one that deserves a second shot do we need a redemp story for maybe because I mean they they ran fire drills intentionally while we were

Eating it was just a very interesting experience they like the manager comes by and she was like don’t don’t worry this is going to be a drill and we’re like what what what are you talking and then strobes Sirens like the whole thing going off and I’m I’m like what is happened happening

Right now and I get it the restaurant manager does not have anything to do with whoever the authority having jurisdiction is that comes in there and makees so if it’s the fire marshal or redy Creek Fire Department or whoever it was that because there were definitely officials going in making sure that all

The fire alarms worked however coming from a facility manager for years like you don’t plan that stuff during your busiest time during service hours like you do it before work after work when there are not patrons actively eating in the restaurant and if you can’t avoid it

You definitely provide them some sort of compensation or something free dessert I don’t know which nothing happened um so anyway we just enjoyed sirens and strobe lights and fire alarms for a couple of minutes and then it was over um that being said I actually kind of like the

Food here but um you know it’s it’s you know it’s one it’s kind of ubiquitous like it’s one of a bunch of Italian places that kind of get gets lost in there especially with like the the Addison and Enzo’s Hideway and all that stuff which I would rather have Enzo’s

Hideway than this I would much rather have viapol than this I would probably rather have any of the Italian food than this in Italy except for maybe the food Booth which you can’t do that at at the at the festivals so yeah I don’t I mean

Like you’re going in and you have this meal and it’s it’s decent food but everything else is pretty much like not memorable except for the giant fire alarm that that happens in the middle of your meal so it is what it is yeah one place that wouldn’t outrank Terina crafted is the

One that comes in at number three as the worst which is the Edison so we R of this 2.5 so remember we got two things and one of them was pretty tasty one of them was like the most Bland thing we’ve ever had um service service was not great it wasn’t

Good you know and there’s just really something that and I know you can go back and watch the video but it really irked us that um she she offered with Dan’s oldfashioned to smoke at tableside she said I can oh that one comes smoked tableside not as an additional she said

That one would come can come smoked tableside would you like me to do that for you like sure it was not any additional conversation about that but there was an additional $5 charge for the tableside smoke which she proceeded to like melt the ice because she held

The burner thing over it for so long anyway all that to say and and she would disappear for long periods of time like it all in all it was not a great experience and honestly there were some of you out there that commented and said

How great it is and how you know we were being ridiculous but there were way more of you that had very similar experiences at the Edison that we kind of felt like it was a Justified score yeah just just from reading all the comments and talking to people it feels like this

One’s either like you love it or you hate it type of thing and it very much depends on your um experience that time and we just didn’t get lucky we had a bad experience I mean this is a Speak Easy so you you feel like you got to get

Good drinks here if nothing else I can almost forgive the food even though we were rating like the overall experience to include food that’s one of the four categories but I could almost forgive that if the drinks were out of this world phenomenal and they just weren’t

Like $5 charge that she didn’t tell us about aside which $5 to put a thing on with a couple of wood chips and hold a torch over it so some smoke goes down that’s a little bit ridiculous but whatever tell me about it and let me make that decision before you just say

Would you like me to do it and do it and Tack on $5 um but the drinks themselves were not well balanced either so you know it’s it it was it was just dis disappointing it was number two oh gosh we’re getting into the getting into the

Scary zone so we also R to this 2.5 and there was nothing just horribly bad about it there’s a couple of funny things except kind of the whole thing like like we knew going in to T-Rex Cafe that it was that it was not going to be

Our cup of tea but we try to have an open mind and put ourselves in we’ve been the parents with small kids and we’ve been to T-Rex Cafe before on vacations a decade ago and our kids liked the animatronic dinosaurs too but when we go in and by the way we took our

Kids this time we did which was probably the best part about the entire experience because we got some great laughs about it so before we even get in the restaurant um there there are two lines two lines and we we made Advanced dining reservations so it wasn’t like we

Had to wait in line to get in the restaurant but we there was a a line to check in for your Advanced dining reservation so that was there was seven eight people in that line yeah and then so you check in and like that hard I was

Like okay fine whatever and then they’re like okay we’ll call you when your table’s ready so then when they call you you have to get another line to check in and those are the people that they’ve called for their table be ready so the checkin process is already like a strike

Against them cuz it’s not people were Furious I mean the people the other people in that line were just just really mad and that’s not how you want to start a dining experience and then you get in there and again it’s the same type of apples Applebee’s food over rainforce Cafe actually rainforce

Cafe from my memory is better my salmon was inedible Aiden asked for a water to go with his meal and he got like a burger or something mind you Aiden is almost yeah he was 16 last year when we went and he brought him out a kids cup

With a plastic lid on top and he looks at the waiter and he’s like can I get an adult siiz water please and from that moving on he was done he was done with T-Rex Cafe same type of thing animatronics are cool you know the the special effects are cool

But the problem here was that there were multiple animatronics that were not working and some that were just flat out like covered because they were not there was only one that was covered in a tar but yes there was a tarp around one so obviously that one wasn’t working yeah

Yeah so I mean that’s kind of disappointing yeah so you know all of it combined we gave it a 2.5 and honestly like I don’t feel like this deserves a Redemption from us I don’t I don’t think I can go back in there after this with

An open mind I’m just going to be quite honest but if you like dinosaurs by all means I feel like you should go oh if you have small kids and you know that you’re going to get not the best food in Disney World but you’re going for the

Animatronic dinosaurs then yeah go for it do it do it all right here we go the number one don’t do it worst nope don’t do it restaurant and Disney World coming in at a 2.2 is space 220 I don’t understand why it’s as popular as it is but you know it’s

Interesting as of late dining reservations there are quite easy to get cuz hopefully people understand the value here it is which is not good yeah it’s the lounge reservations that are next to Impossible that is where I would like to go and re see if it redeems

Itself and quite honestly if it does in the lounge which I’m not to sure it will because we had friends go there just the other day who were not impressed they had not ever been and they went to the lounge and they said the appetizers were overpriced the drinks were overpriced

And everything else was just okay so so anyway all that to say we would like to retry the lounge see if it’s better there will be a Redemption story on Space to20 lounge or not I don’t there’s going to be a Redemption story you think it’s going to be better like you think

It’s going to actually redeem itself I’m going in with an open m no there’s going to be a Redemption episode whether or not it achieves Redemption there you go I don’t know but we’re going to call it the Redemption episode because we have to differentiate it from the original

Review which I am absolutely not taking down because I stand by that 100% guys whenever I how much should we pay we paid a lot of money for what was the prefixed menu what is that no dinner’s dinner’s $70 this was like a year and a

Half ago um it it was like $50 or more I can’t remember for the prefix L preix menu and I kid you not my meal was Buttered Noodles that’s not that’s not what she ordered she ordered like the shrimp pasta but it was literally buttered it was literally buttered

Noodles with flavorless shrimp the drinks were too much ice way too much like it was a it was a rocks glass that was filled to the top with ice and I I don’t know like it was a couple of couple of sips and you’re done with it

Cuz it’s just all ice and of course they’re expensive uh service was not great they set us in an awkward table um you know we’re videoing which is awkward enough but there were little kids running around us because they were they she set us kind of like behind and

Between two tables of one party and one table was just little kids nobody was supervising them and the other table was the adults that were having a good time and the little kids were up and running in between our table and I had this camera that I anyway and then it was at

The bottom of like if you know space 220 like there’s a elevated section and there was a couple up here like looking down at us the whole time that were watching this film and there was no one seated right next to the gorgeous the one great thing about this place is the

Is the theming like the the big windows that look into space no one seating in any of those booths and finally we’re like excuse me we’d already got our drinks and uh finally can can can we move over there like this is not a pleasant experience to her credit she

Did let us move over there there so that was I think the one good part of the service was her her granting our request to move where there weren’t any people yeah yeah wasn’t it wasn’t great food was not good definitely not worth the cost now I have heard that they have

Done and this is you know I have I I I don’t study their menu all day long but I have heard that their food has gotten better since then I don’t know if it’s a complete menu redo now I know they did a menu redo right after they open but this

Wasn’t right they open so but I but I I’ve heard they’ve done some menu upgrades since then so maybe that helps you know I don’t know but they but but for sure the theming is amazing like you go in and you see all the screens that is the one very redeeming almost worth

It to go see but not but it’s it’s very very cool like if you want to what a good reason to like try to get into the lounge yeah you know so well the lounge you don’t have to it’s all a cart so it’s it’s a feel like

It would be a better experience so don’t hate us you can hate us if you want to but it but I I don’t know it’s how we feel like I don’t know these were our experiences so yep I mean and you know I’m sure that there have probably been some that we

Rank very high that people out there did not have great experiences at because it happens all around right so um it just is what it is anyway there you have it we are going to continue to experience new dining options and bring those to you both at Disney and Universal and we

Will continue to revamp this list and uh soon we’re going to start doing some different categories like best character dining best buffets that kind of thing so I’m I’m excited to bring those it’s it’s nice having all of the table service restaurants done yes I know we

Haven’t done 1900 Park Fair yet it’s not open as soon as we can make reservations we will make one and do it um I’m actually excited about that one I am very excited that one was a character buffet that had great character interaction great food yeah like interesting food like a cold strawberry

Soup I like that soup it was good and good characters for breakfast and good characters for dinner totally separate characters and they got new characters coming back when it opens like I’m so excited about this I cannot wait for Mirabel and Tiana oh my goodness those
