A 65th-minute goal from the Borussia Dortmund striker Sebastien Haller was enough to win it for the Ivorians while Nigeria beat South Africa 4-2 on penalties. “They thought we were dead. But when you die and are resurrected you become even stronger,” an Ivory Coast fan said. “The AFCON is ours. The AFCON is for Ivorians.”
