  1. Bullshit..Kids are NOT allowed to drink alcohol, in Italy you have to be 18 to drink in pubs or buy in shops..but wine is part of our culture and history, and in special family occasion kids can have a sip to taste..I was maybe ten when I tasted wine for the first time ..and i'm not an alcoholic🤷

  2. For all the Europeans leaving in the countries producing historicaly wine, wine is just part of the food!!!! Just 50 years ago a small glass of wine was part of kids healthy food portions in schools . Wine is very healthy and it is a fact that all these people have much less problems with drunk people and alcoholism than in the north countries/ UK , Russia, USA / where people have no wine and alcohol drinking culture. BTW it is like the food , you need common sense and culture

  3. i drink from 13 now i am 30 and i drink every week in one day in week 2 dcl -5 dcl of wine and that is before i drink vodka and be drunk but now i drink vodka 2 maybe 3 time in year

  4. When I was a young teenager? I used this argument with my mother. She simply said they have to drink alcohol because their water was no good. True or not but it worked on me.😂😂😂😂😂

  5. Well in Italy they are allowed to drink alcohol from 18 yo, not before! So when they start drinking they are adult, not kids. In Europe (especially the south) drinking and getting drunk is considered like if you were a drug addict. We tend to drink wine and taste it while in the Usa (as well as all the other nations of the anglosphere) drinking is fun when you are intoxicated, so it's a totally different thing

  7. In Canada, many parents allow their children to drink alcohol while supervised. My parents used to buy me & my sister Baby Duck on special occasions. Not a big deal. Our legal drinking age is 18

  8. No alcohol but Yes ar15…no way in hell kids in europe able to purchase or own an ar15

  9. Today there was a proposal in Belgium for allowing drinking only from 18 years old.

When I was 10 (47 now) I went to the store for cigarettes for mom and dad, and a bottle of cognac and some beers, no problem. I even remember shopping carts had ash trays on the handles, was normal to smoke in a store while doing your shopping.

  10. In germany we can drink beer and wine at 16 and hard liquor at 18. Most american exchange students or tourists are lightweights to us, and its always fun seeing them try to keep up. On the flipside, i am an alcoholic. If you ask me, alcohol is worth taking off a few years at the end

  11. Young people in mediterranean european countries (not Europe) learn how to enjoy alcohol, americans and the rest of Europe just drink to get drunk. Thats why we drink more but have less alcoholics

  12. The alcohol and beer culture in My opinion from Denmark sick! So much youth wasted! Money wasted. An unnesecary amusement! It is all about values, focus, disciplin getting scills. 🙏🏻

  13. Americans acting like allowing a 16 year old to drink a beer if parents are present is somehow weirder than allowing 18 year olds to walk around armed enough to do a school shooting.

  14. Having the legal drinking age at 21 and being so harsh to not allow small amounts of drinking to build up tolerance until then is a practice that to me seems far more dangerous than the way we do things in Europe. So many 18 year olds who are illegally drinking and getting hurt because they cannot handle it at all.

  15. It's not good to drink early, its even bad to do it anytime. What's with the statistics of addiction in US? I am a Paramedic in Germany and have no understanding for someone getting into the hospital because hes drunk, again and again. I wanna visit usa again (in 1999 i was in Denver) to make my own point of view. A friend was ln LA and comes back shocked about of all the zombies laying around on fentanyl.

  16. I would say i nold south africa we had the same strategy, but alcoholism is also out of hand… I had free access and had alcohol from age 3 and drank till about age 26. Almost never touch the stuff now.

  17. I think Europe has a better system. In the states we completely restrict alcohol from minors which makes them even more tempted. The day before they turn 21 they're so anxious to buy their first drinks they're in the liquor store counting down to midnight. They immediately abuse the new freedom to drink by partying all day and night. Next thing you know they're full blown alcoholics that can't even get out of bed without needing to be half in the bag. In the UK the kids get exposed to it early with their parents there, so the cool factor of alcohol wears off after the first few drinks. There's no peer pressure by others to excessively drink and their parents are there to cut them off and teach them to be responsible and respect the alcohol. It's a better system that introduced them to a potentially very dangerous thing with adult supervision.

  18. Americans can't hold their liquor and they think it's a license to act like dicks. In Italy they give us a little wine, not like they're getting us drunk. This way we get used to it, it's not something cool and forbidden, and you learn your limits little by little.

  19. So in the US all the teens waits for to be 21? No. They drink it before legal age illegally. Usually stupid places w/ stupid people. Then they do stupid things. In europe they can have a drink with family usually when they around 14. And learn it in safe environment.

  20. For me even though it’s still Alcohol there is a big difference between A glass of wine and a Glass of Whiskey or beer. Wine (if drank in light moderation) has some health benefits. I do agree with him that it is a touchy subject since there are a metric fuck ton of pros and cons to both sides.

  21. I was allowed a glass of port for Xmas dinner from around the age of 7 onwards that post Xmas dinner nap was always on point woke up feeling fresh
