This sandwich shop located in North Bergen New Jersey is making a lot of noise it’s Dominican Italian Under One Roof but does it live up to the hype stay tuned and make sure you Subscribe we it Cru yes I’m Dominican and my wife’s Italian so my opinion this is what happens to any immigrant doesn’t happen to be Spanish we get indoctrinated to the Italian culture we love pasta we love pizza we get indoctrinated to the American culture Philly cheese steaks

Burgers things of that nature and this is the menu I created put a little twist with um some Spanish stuff I have my mom spiny recipe on a French Cuban and um then I also have my wife’s family saws on the the rep machine which is our

Chicken pal I call it the rep machine cuz it has R age Peppers but the one that everybody um keeps talking about and has become our known sandwich is the Jiu-Jitsu steak is a thinly sliced steak it’s been aged for at least 2 days and seasoned twice um and it has chimmy

It this is easily a 10 out of 10 for me it has caramelized onions on here that steak is so Savory so flavorful you can taste the love in this look at that bread amazing I’m going to take one more bite cuz we got a lot Left you could eat that with rice too gosh easily a 10 out of 10 for me on that sandwich it’s different it’s familiar good choice to bread onions powerful this sandwich is standing on Business from The Bread it’s a very Brooklyn sandwich type of bread and you get that

Past uh summer and I got there three hits the gopz phenomenal simple delicious it gets you moving gets you grooving here we go they got that fried cheese they got the salami the egg some V uh vinegar onions in here and we got the plantains Smashed That is three hits oo got to get you Moving that’s a quick grab that’s the ultimate Dominican breakfast sandwich all right the ultimate Dominican breakfast sandwich next time I probably would have opted more for the onions but you know he just own up next is the the cheese one this is the four types of cheese it’s on that same Bread all right so we got uh some Ms some of that fried Dominican cheese American cheese and something else and the bread it’s the same bread but it’s flipped inside Out this the ultimate grilled cheese but I’m not the biggest grilled cheese fan if I eat too much cheese I get a headache I appreciate it for the flavors but that would do me wrong so I’m I’m I’mma have to disqualify that for personal purposes it’s good that mozzarella is good though

The y’all like grilled cheese that that’s that’s a that’s a fantastic cheese hold On that Dominican cheese though Dominican cheese is the bomb last but not least we’re going to do the Philly special the Spanish Pig Italy pass it over here so my man know I gets down I gets busy on the uh the cheese steak so

Mean to keep it all the way real this reminds me of just a Dominican cheese steak if it was Dominican cheese steak I’d say this is in like the eight range 8.5 out of 10 Philly steak nah it’s not a Philly steak it’s a good steak

Bread it’s like a New York bread and hero bread but all these sandwiches are unique in their own way they’re delicious and they’re very fulfilling a lot of protein so overall I give this place 10 out of 10 for show you know what I mean shout

Food looks good but overpriced gentrified shop..I grew up in Washington Heights (basically DR in the states) and it would be blasphemy for a restaurant using elements of the culture to not have so much as a flag or a small piece of memorabilia nodding to DR, 2:13 owner is aware of this and as I’m also familiar with Bergen county..I’m sure he feels it would diminish the brand and not be able to charge people $6.50 for tator tots when most people go to Dominican restaurants to spend $6.50 for an entire dish

  6. We went today and OMG! JL please try the chicken parm🔥🔥 Wasn’t A fan of the steak the sauce was sweet and very grassy! My husband liked it but said the parm was much better💯
