Paulie’s Italian Restaurant and Bar Burgos Circle Kensington Place BGC Taguig. Named after Paul Vario a made man, a captain, and later the consigliere of the Lucchese crime family in New York. He was depicted in Martin Scorsese’s film Goodfellas under the name “Paul Cicero” and is played by actor Paul Sorvino. More like a neighborhood bar than a restaurant, the food was surprising good as long as you can handle the old school trance playing in the background. While I do love trance, it was a new experience to enjoy an Italian meal with it. Highly recommended are the Pizza Romana and Angel Hair Pasta in Tuffle Oil and Parma Ham. The pizza was thin crust and extra crispy and they did not scrimp on the truffle oil!
