Meet Peppa Pig and her family:
Peppa Pig is a lovable but slightly bossy little pig. She is four years old and lives with Mummy Pig, Daddy Pig and her little brother George.
Peppa likes playing with her best friend Suzy Sheep, visiting Granny and Grandpa Pig and looking after George. Most of all, Peppa loves jumping up and down in muddy puddles, laughing and making loud snorting noises.
George Pig is Peppa’s little brother. He is 18 months old and loves to play with his big sister, Peppa – even when she’s being bossy. George’s favourite thing is his toy dinosaur. He carries it everywhere with him. George can’t speak yet but can say one word very well: ‘Dine-saw!’
Mummy Pig likes jumping up and down in muddy puddles almost as much as Peppa. She works from home on her computer and sometimes lets Peppa and George help, as long as they don’t bash the keyboard. She is better at map reading than Daddy Pig and is very wise about most things.
Daddy Pig is very jolly and laughs all the time, especially when he plays with Peppa and George.
Daddy Pig reads the paper and gets excited about trips in the car. He loves cookies and pumpkin pie and Peppa teases him about his big round tummy. Daddy Pig can be a tiny bit grumpy sometimes when he can’t remember where he put his glasses.

It’s a synthesizer oh I’ll show you wow it’s a little piano yes it is like a piano but with buttons what do the buttons do daddy uh I’m not sure oh here’s a book that tells you what the buttons do ah it looks a little more complicated than I thought

To go skiing see you all at the top come on oh the car cannot drive up the mountain the snow is too slippery you have to take the ski lift the ski lift is hurrying everyone to the top of Snowy Mountain uh it looks a bit High
Whoa Daddy Pig does not like heights this is really fun oh yes really fun in the air in a chat slow is falling everywhere Flying high in a chair flying high and high and high the ski lift has reached the top of Snowy Mountain Get your skis here hello Miss Rabbit skis for two grown-ups and two children please there you go Madame Gazelle is the ski teacher Madame Cassell will we ski all the way down the mountain not today Danny I think for now we will stick to the baby slope the children are
Learning to ski on a little slope to start push off slowly with your sticks to stop Point your skis together is fun let’s go back up and do it again Walking up slopes on skis is not easy to go up the slope you have to walk sideways like a club everyone is walking sideways like a crab how can we see you ski now oh I don’t know very well foreign that was amazing yes I was the world champion at skiing

My mummy is skiing super fast that was fantastic skiing Mummy Pig is skiing past the shops ah how am I going to stop My goodness a walking talking snowman no it’s just my mummy I have never seen such amazing skiing this cup belongs to you thank you my mummy is the best at skiing down the mountain the wishing well Grandpa Pig is showing Peppa and George around his garden here are my cabbages broccoli and sprouts
Potatoes carrots and beet Roots lived here and over there is the fruit what grandpa that pepper is a weed what is a weed a weed is a cheeky plant growing in the wrong spot oh pull it out and throw it in this bucket there’s no room for weeds in my tidy Garden
Grandpa Pig is very proud of his garden maybe there is room to grow a little strawberry here in the middle of my carrots no Peppa strawberries belong with a fruit everything has its place isn’t that right granny Pig yes Grandpa can we find a little place for this uh

Is a well a well pepper is a very deep hole with water in it oh and as it happens I do need water for my garden so a well will be useful but that is not a well it’s made of plastic and there’s no hole it’s beautiful
Beautiful what’s the point of a well without water it’s a wishing well you throw a coin into it and make a wish I make wish granny of course Peppa here’s a little coin I wish I wish I wish or don’t tell us what you’re wishing for okay

George Richard he’s knocked my house down please play something not bouncy George has made the toy basket into a volcano Richard is using toy trees to make a Jungle George has used the building blocks to make a river George and Richard have turned the bedroom into Dinosaur Land I’m leaving it’s too noisy
Say potato and I say potato potato es is we get to watch important TV programs potato potato George and Richard have made the bedroom into Dinosaur Land and dinosaur land is very noisy George has his best friend here but I’ve got no one to play with
You could ask Susie’s sheep to come over Susie Sheep is Peppa’s best friend can really come over now let’s ring her Hello Susie Sheep speaking Susie it’s me can you come to my house now yes Peppa can I wear my mine costume yes but come quickly Bye bye Susie I’ll be back soon pick you up later George Richard nurse Susie is here and now Susie says this is not dinosaur and it’s a hospital and a hospital must be clean and tidy the bedroom is not Dinosaur Land anymore it is a hospital I’m the important doctor
Um this dinosaur looks sick I agree doctor he’s a very grainy ill color he must go to bed and this dinosaur looks a very purpley ill color Yes doctor he must go into bed too shush quiet in the hospital you choose the bedroom is not a hospital anymore
Now it is a railway station s and Fairyland oh now the bedroom is Fairyland only things are allowed in fairy land what’s all this crying about George and Richard want to play dinosaurs and trains and we want to play hospitals and fairies I see the rain has stopped outside
