During our 1 month tour of Italy we stopped in the small town of Cortina D’Ampezzo to ski in the Dolomites. Cortina turned out to be one of our favorite stops along our journey. Come along to find out why.

We took the Cortina Express from the bus stop located next to the venecia meister train station So we are on the cortina express i think thats how you say it and this bus is awesome

K so if you press down right here and lean back the seat will go down like all the way apparently If you get carsick be sure to sit near the front of the bus as the roads get quite curvy with the Melton Berlin

We just arrived in Cortina we are on the balcony at our hotel Hotel Europa fletcher wants to say hello and look at this view we’ve got snow today so we’re gearing up to get ready to go skiing tomorrow or the next day it’s gonna be a good time

So something I’ve loved about having a dog along on this trip is that it makes me get out at night and walk him when I normally wouldn’t and the towns are so beautiful at night lit up we were spoiled at Hotel Europa with massive breakfast spreads and had fun

Each morning with a family egg peeling competition which was fun and packed in the protein for our full ski days ahead my personal favorite breakfast in Italy chocolate croissant and cappuccino so I just locked myself out i think whoops

Okay so this very nice family let me go through their room to get off the balcony and back in so that door locks when you go out it okay we are here in Cortina there’s the church this is the walking only Street

And here I wanted to show you the co-operative which is so funny because it’s this unsuspecting building and we go inside and it’s like this huge mall and grocery store so let’s go in and take a look around these cookies right here are delicious we need to get more of those yes

These here as well they are delicious for 3 euro and 14 prosciutto thats good stuff we stopped into snow service to rent all of our ski equipment and by all I mean absolutely everything from our skis boots goggles helmets to our jackets

Pants gloves we really didn’t want to pack another large suitcase and have to fumble with that getting on and off buses and trains and through the streets and up flights of stairs so it was really a wonderful thing and we were even pleasantly surprised they were super helpful and friendly but

They also delivered all of the equipment right to our hotel so we didn’t have to even fumble with our equipment through the streets of Cortina we just went in they fitted everybody and then they just marked our hotel name on all of our bags

Of stuff dropped it off and we picked it up in the morning we are here in cortina look at that view we are gonna get some GoPro footage it’s gonna be sweet Hello
