Marsala Sicily to Pantelleria Island .
Our first real sail from Artemar Marina in Northern Sicily to Marsala on the southern side of Sicily before sailing across to Pantelleria Island mid way between Sicily and Tunisia.

Good day everyone this is our first video of our inaugural Voyage really from where we live the marina in t remiss and move around the island of sicy towards Masala I hope you enjoy the video and if you do please like And subscribe C we an old city wall entrance to
Um the port the port in their uh pav streets car co come on sculptures in the middle of Masala around a marina today checking out um p and solar arches so we’ve taken a uh taken a few photos of different solar arches Got The Distillery across here there’s another
One just there we go back down there see The Distillery in there check them out e and then down below you see the bigger ones and the small ones up here they they look like mullets leaving early it it will be just on 0500 Sunrise to 530 so we’ll get out
And get going get a good start uh to pandal area and uh the the passage should take us around about 10 hours if we leave at around about 5 530 we’re going to get 3:30ish four depending on conditions if they change the wind drops back we average around
About 6 and 1/2 to 7 knots overall the the distance between from here to chinia is around about 200 nautical miles I think yeah 350 360 K cuz haven’t already mentioned when the beautiful Port of Masala beautiful Town famous for Masala wine actually there’s a few distillers they
Distill gin and whiskey and wine we can’t take any wine with us to Chia there’s a limit of one liter nice clean town they take pride in their town which is excellent see how we’ve uh secured the Jack lines at the front in the meantime we’ve made sure all our safety
Gears up to scratch with personal safety gear we’ve got a course got our life jacket we got our personal EBS um knives part of the safety check we also had the rigging inspected checked for any loose fittings uh whilst we’re a whilst we’re in Port we thought
That was essential we also got the lights uh checked out whilst the guy was up the the Mast also we had Raphael the marina owner come on board and fix up a bit of an electrical issue we had with the ignition lost so weatherwise um we were going to leave
Originally we’re going to leave uh Wednesday Thursday I think it was there was a a really nice weather window Thursday Friday to get across the Tunis with uh weather coming down s West North West um the now west nor West has continued right through to uh this weekend through the week tomorrow
Most of Tuesday and then uh late Tuesday early Wednesday it’s supposed to swing around so to more sub uh knots at best anyway okay here we go we’re uh we’re finally leaving siisy it’s taken us many weeks but anyway um weather conditions at the moment are around about 9 10 knots
Uh good we’re going to be able to sell mainly on a beam reach across to pant L Pia pinia Island I think it’s called and uh now we’re leaving the port behind us so it’s about 5:30 a.m. in the morning we’re uh we’re finally leaving Sicily it’s taken us many weeks but
Anyway well it’s about uh 1300 hours and uh we’re B than halfway across um to pent LT car good afternoon this is an aircraft in support of the European Union Naval forces on okay not see where it’s tting off but we’re right in the middle of a shipping channel there one
There another couple up there you not quite see 56 so yeah it’s going to be rather diligent it’s uh we almost through this um this uh shipping Lane and uh we’ve had to make a mil off but closer a marina for the night bit expensive what we get apparently but
