  1. The lasagna probably tastes really sour and sweet knowing american tomatoes and their overuse of sugar. 🤔

  2. Caesar salad origiates from Mexico, American by technicality, but I would way Mexico deserves the credit to avoid any confusion.

  3. Worst lasagna I've ever had was in St. Lucia made by a French chef at an Italian place in the Gros Islet. 😂😂😂

  4. My Sicilian brother in-law is not a fan Buca di Beppo it's been to Americanized plus his family can cook way better Italian food than Buca di Beppo.

  5. If you go again he should try the salmon, as someone that has a small percentage of Italian blood😊 I very much enjoyed it

  6. Buca de Beppo is a place for large families or parties. They make huge portions to share. The food is probably at the same level as Olive Garden

  7. America got some great food I get that it’s not very healthy and they throw melted cheese on everything but still 😂😂 even most small restaurants they put a lot of effort in preparing and cooking fresh every day as where to where I’m from food lays in the cooler for a whole damn Month and gets heated in the microwave

  8. I like American-Italian style lasagne, but I also like traditional, Sicilian style. You just have to explain to actual Italians (from Italy) that it is an American version…we don’t think that it’s traditional. Just like most Chinese restaurants in the US. It’s not traditional Chinese food.
But then, when you travel most places the foods they have that aren’t from their culture are almost always catered to the local tastes. That is the evolution of food! And it’s a wonderful thing. ❤😊
EDIT: just don’t let him eat any Americanized versions of carbonara, that will break his heart 😂😂😂
