Living on a Farm in Italy I Slow Food, Slow Life

The journey started two years ago when I got rid of my Parisian apartment and everything in it in search of something, somewhere, someone(s) more meaningful. I ended up finding a home and community, living out the lock-down in the countryside on an organic grains farm in southern Italy. Adopting this slow living, I decided to start sharing the experience in an aesthetic vlog. Whether it’s having my hands in the earth gardening, kneading dough in the kitchen for fresh pasta, or the aroma of freshly ground flour in the mill, I am grateful to have had time to reflect about myself, about the world, and my values going forward.

This montage aims to capture a ‘slow food slow life’ way of being, sustainability and intentionalism (minimalism), and some good old fashioned Italian dolce vita! It has been a journey of learning about alternative lifestyles and organic food growing, living in a tight-knit community and as well learning about Apulian culture and dialect, and the Italian language.

In this time of deep reflection and living closer to nature and the natural rhythms of life, I have chosen to start honoring a more authentic calling in content creation around my musings, realizations, and yearnings.
