One of several castles and palaces in Naples but I am just blown away by this place you can’t possibly visit the modern birthplace of pizza without taking a tour of some of the best eats in Naples such as homemade pasta fresh seafood baked eggplant and everyone’s favorite Saucy flatbread

The best way to taste these favors is to visit small family-run pizzerias or trattorias you’ll get to enjoy an authentic atmosphere along with your authentic Neapolitan cuisine we suggest visiting Pizzeria di machela which is very popular with locals so you know it’s the business speaking of Good Eats while you’re

2 000 years ago and they served as aqueducts bomb shelters and even a place for conducting illegal activities the bourbon tunnel or the Galleria bubonicon in Italian was built in 1853 for King Ferdinand II of bourbon originally built as an emergency escape route from the palace to the military

Barracks during periods of unrest the tunnel transformed into an air raid shelter and Military Hospital during World War II within the tunnel you’ll find memories of the second world war including handwritten messages wishes and hopelessness along its walls in addition to the evidence of war and civil unrest you’ll also find plenty of

Antiques like cars and motorcycles along with statues that were found in the tunnels and displayed then there’s the San Gennaro catacombs this ancient paleo-christian site of worship and burial dates back to the second century and is believed to be the tomb of a noble family it is named after Saint young eurius the

No ordinary Subway Hub the Toledo Metro station is more like an art installation and said to be the most beautiful Metro station in Europe as part of a cooperation between the Naples public transit department and local artists to bring a little bit of art into people’s everyday lives each

Level of the metro station is decorated with a different color palette each representing the city of Naples there are mosaics to represent different moments in the city’s fascinating history there are special nods to Mount Vesuvius and the turinian sea with the use of volcanic Stone and LED lights to

  1. I am sorry to say but it is abit difficoult to listen to you. may be it is a microfone, but the voice is very jumpy and difficoult to perceive

  2. Posillipo, not Posipillo 🙈 But yes, Vomero area on top of the hill is very nice and the views from Sant'Elmo castle are amazing. There are 3 funicular lines that take you up to the hill, but only two of them work at the moment (you can see in wikipedia which line doesnt work).

  3. Got back on Sat, the worst crap hole I have ever been to, have these people no pride or services? Streets over flowing with rubbish of all sorts, poo, pee and even dead animals, stinks around Napoli station. Never go back to that filthy slum. Leave is the best thing to do if you are unfortunate to be there.
